CONCEPTUAL is the musical journey of Berlin based producer Simone Scardino, a sci fi techno specialist well seasoned with releases on the best scientific labels out there. His approach on techno comes apart from trends and superficiality, it always has an underlying message and it’s made with detail and intelligence.
 
This extended EP is not for the faint hearted, it requires some knowledge about intrincated soundscapes and requires attention and long term vision to capture the feeling properly. It can be completely beatless and atmospheric as the open title Ninna Nanna For Bad Children or super rhythmic like Me Medesimo where broken and bass heavy beats combine with elaborated textures exquisitely sound designed to cause the required damage on the dancefloor.
 
Højer is traversing similar terrain, but this time based on a 4/4 beat, rugged and distorted, metallic and industrial, a no mercy weapon for the darkest sound spaces.
 
On the B side, Not An Easy One gives another ration of proper non conventional dancefloor action, again with a well balanced combination of groove and texture.
 
 I Always Feel Like Somebody’s Watching Me closes the release changing the approach completely going hypnotic instead of muscular, with a complex drum work spiced with super-treated synth lines in constant change.
 
The sound of the future experienced today, made by a visionary.

The twelfth episode reinforces our guest, Mesh Convergence's pure-spirited versatile role, who emerges in the techno empire, both as DJ and producer. It reflects his concept of music as a way out from convention, playing calculated rebellion in a mixed sharp combination of striking techno, cosmic touches, and height-surfaced breaks.

Mesh aims to overcome the perimeters of the orthodox minimalist four-to-the-floor rhythm, providing variety and originality, solid cadences built through a wide and irregular sound, dystopian sequences, clear shortcuts, intertwined repetitions, and defined atmospheres.

Highlighting his ability to weave meshes of emotional intensity with experimental skill, constructing an auditory direction that models appropriate outcomes of convergence, Nahuel formulates 'The Art of' as an engaging path and an ingenious chapter, taking listeners to bold sonic crossroads.

Nahuel Rodriguez, known as Mesh Convergence, is a Spanish producer whose work has significantly impacted the techno scene. Currently residing between Granada and Madrid, his roots are firmly planted in techno. However, his musical explorations extend to Electro, Breakbeats, Jungles, Drum & Bass, and IDM, reflecting his broad musical interests and versatility.

Nahuel's journey into music began with a love for Linkin Park and metal in 2006, eventually evolving into an interest in electronic music by 2010. However, his reconnection with techno in 2020 truly defined his current musical direction. His sound has been shaped by various techno producers, resulting in a unique blend of styles that sets him apart in the electronic music scene. His music, a product of emotion and experimentation, offers an intense and addictive listening experience. 

It has been released on esteemed labels such as Faut Section, Edit Select, Children of Tomorrow, Utopia, TMM, Sungate, Subsist, BAHN-, Signal, Arido, NYXII, and Diffuse Reality, among others. 

His tracks have found their way into the sets of renowned artists like DVS1, Laurent Garnier, Rødhad,Takaaki Itoh, Setaoc Mass, Lewis Fautzi, Fabio Florido, HD Substance, Pfirter, Adriana Lopez, Ribé, Viels, Vincent Neumann, Blazej Malinowski and more, resonating in iconic venues such as Berghain, Awakenings, Luna Park, Sisyphos, Fabrik, and Tresor.

Nahuel's music, which ranges from pounding techno to richly textured breaks, is a fusion of robotic and organic sounds. Drawing inspiration from science fiction and the material world, his unique sonic palette integrates everything from natural elements to dystopian future synthesizers. 

This results in DJ sets that transport the crowd, offering them an escape from their surroundings.

With several upcoming releases, Nahuel continues pushing electronic music's boundaries. Gustavo Gutiérrez is a Mexican techno producer who has been focused on the experimentation and functioning of sound through techno since 2023.

Exploration through consumption and detachment has allowed him to obtain the necessary information to connect with both sides.

His sound engages both the structured mind and the body, maintaining a narrative true to the essence of techno.

The interaction between elements can be interpreted as an unconventional exercise, providing opportunities to take bold paths in both live sets and production. This approach may lack balance, but it gains clarity with each process.

Berlin based producer CONCEPTUAL is back home after his Not an easy one Ep, again providing his own vision on techno, full of sonic landscapes, detail and intelligence.

Release starts with Approach slowly a brief atmospheric intro that sets the pace for what comes next in Il silenzio degli innocenti introducing the rhythmic pulse from the first bar with almost all elements into he equation, this is a minimalistic tool where percussive elements evolve in a subtle manner all over the arrangement.

No more excuses continues in the mood, adding more spice to the formula with reverberated details, growing mental sequences and the usual complex groove. Intense and mental all in one.

Sand fury follows, with atmospheres colliding with rugged components, evolving all together in a progressive arrangement, a superb tool to enhance your mixes properly.

Miles per hour introduces you into another sonic realm, using elastic synth lines, a wise reverb work and a sensation of infinite space combined with floor intensity. Again a proper intelligent missile for the adequate dancefloors out there.

Simone Scardino is one of those few creators that always pushes his sound one step further and we are super proud to have him onboard again.

Simone Scardino has created a musical style and vision that truly is his own, sharing it with the world with his new solo project CONCEPTUAL.

Techno is body music. It’s all about this special feeling that you have when your mind disconnects and your body just follows the music, the feeling of freedom when you dance. Simone’s vision of techno unceasingly characterizes his unique productions as well as his DJ sets. Colorful and energetic techno, a powerful explosion of craziness and happiness at the same time. Three-dimensional spatial sounds combined with gentle but determined drum grooves create a mystical and whirling result and a killer stereo experience!

Last year Simone founded the Berlin based art and music collective Friendship Collective. Through his devotion to techno and visual and performance arts the idea for CONCEPTUAL was born. His performances will often be characterized by collaborations with visual artists and performers, creating a special techno experience for the people that come to see him play. 

Simone’s progressive approach to producing and DJing as well as his collaborations with artists in and outside music reflects his artistic vision and goals as much as his spirited personality, and, in its essence, embodies what CONCEPTUAL represents. Plans for the year hold upcoming releases as well preparing playing live, continuously exploring the world of electronic music with his fans.
