EP 2 - "See you in Hell, Candy Boys" coming spring 2017.

Forming in August of 2014, Semantics are a product of the combined styles, emotions and influences of its four members Bridie Green (Guitar), Rob Lilley (Vocals and Guitar), Simon Lees (Drums) and Josh RB (Bass), who write as a collaborative of four individuals.

Their debut EP was released on the 1st of July 2016 and was recorded and mixed over the course of 2015 with Ryan Pinson, with the artwork being contributed by Boston based artist Ash Rose. It has received extensive airplay on BBC Introducing as well as radio stations internationally. Upon its release it was described as being an ”opaque, but inviting, listen, creating swathes of mystery” (Counteract) and one that ”will shake those who seek 'a different sound’ to their core” (Quays News). 

After a successful bout of headline shows and support slots with bands such as The Vryll Society, Holy Esque and Field studies, Semantics are releasing their second EP titled 'Acid Test' in September 2017.

Forming in 2018, The Taboo Club are entirely of their own, combining their individual ideas and influences to create something heart-breakingly cathartic: a densely layered sound that commands attention and welcomes intimacy.

A consortium of artists based in and around the West Midlands, The Taboo Club work as one unit to compose music that blends, breaks and banishes musical conventions across many genres. By embracing the gothic sensibilities of global art and culture, they create a sound that can only be described as cinematic.
