Joyful Lion is a musician and riddim builder based near Graz, Austria - playing the Saxophone, Melodica, Piano, Organ & Keyboards, Percussion, Electric Bass & Guitar.
Channeling inspiration from the powers of nature and fueled by gratitude for the works of the Most High, he combines various different roots music genres - creating a distinctive blend of Roots Reggae, Jazz, Blues, Pan-African music styles mixed with the sounds of everyday life. While collaborating with vocalists & other musicians, he lends the musical support for messages of Love, Upliftment and RasTafari livity teachings.

As a Selector and MC he's taking Roots & Culture straight from the studio to the sessions.

Kakochan is a drum & bass and jungle DJ as well as promoter from Münster. His soundsystem culture influenced style is diverse and adapted to playtime and vibe of events: from instrumental and atmospheric liquid to minimalistic, deep and driving rollers to whipping breakbeat thunderstorms paired with reggae samples. He made his first experiences as a DJ and promoter in 2016 at the formerly occupied self-managed social and cultural center of Detmold 'Alte Pauline', where he participated in event series such as Sub Skank and Bassbiotop. After his move, he was one of two winners of the Sub Union DJ contest in 2019 and was able to establish in the scene of Münster too. Here he has been an integral part of the High Voltage crew since 2021 and co-founder of the DayBreakz event series since 2022. He has already shared the timebtable with international greats such as Benny Page, Dope Ammo, Kolt Sieverts and Black Barrel.
