POOLcast 068 - Salvador Hören

Our next summer edition of the year comes once again from Colombia, to be exact from Medellin. Suitable for balmy summer nights, 'Salvador Hören' has provided us with a live set that unfolds and deforms as hypnotically as clouds announcing a thunderstorm.

Listening creates the sensation of looking up at a sky peppered with clouds that stretch nuanced across the horizon. Also when listening, the phenomenon arises as when looking at clouds, the smallest change lets the imagination do its work and new images arise. If you let your thoughts wander for just a moment, levels shift and new images emerge. Exactly this phenomenon occurs when Salvador steers his combination of ambient, dub techno, minimal grooves and experimental with sublime coziness towards the furious finale.
