Chiedza is a powerhouse within Bristol's vibrant music scene, championing the electrifying rhythms of amapiano, gqom, and afro house. Known for her genre-bending versatility, she has graced popular festivals such as Shambala, El Dorado, and Love Saves the Day, leaving crowds energized with her dynamic sets. Beyond festivals, she has collaborated with renowned promoters like Club Djembe and See No Evil, solidifying her reputation as a leading voice in the scene. Chiedza also curates cutting-edge sounds on her regular shows on Noods Radio and Void, further showcasing her ability to push musical boundaries and captivate audiences.

Back A Yard is a roots, dub, and Dancehall platform with a few nods to other culturally inspired music, and venue at Shambala Festival.

Born in Geneva, Switzerland and long time member of O.B.F Sound System's DUBQUAKE family; Mother Dubber has been digging records since 2001 and considers her vinyl collection an anthropological archive. 

Her aim is to find parallels between the great African traditions and the modern sound expressions of the diaspora –– starting from the West-African disco records inherited from her father, to the contemporary electronic music productions that dominated her childhood. 

A strong universal struggle and alliance can be heard through her musical curation; focusing on a particular era or region with every set. 

She however has a particular affinity and obsession with the 88-92 era, a time of true sonic innovation, which she ultimately attributes to the technological harmony of that period. According to her, the tools available during this era were dialectically both primitive and sophisticated enough to have enabled an optimistic futuristic sound, still interacting in close proximity to, whilst also closely reflecting, the human experience.
