Their revered Balance Mix Series (Established in 2000) has seen the likes of Max Cooper, James Zabiela, Kolsch, Hernan Cattaneo, Henry Saiz, Danny Tenaglia, Deetron, Joris Voorn, Patrice Baumel, James Holden, Agoria, Phil K (R.I.P.), and more step up to the plate for one of the most essential collections across the entirety of the electronica spectrum, whilst Balance Series, their showcase for expressive tech, progressive and wider variations of house music, is a focal point of the sound. The latter has nurtured top-drawer releases from quality artists encompassing a plethora of upcoming and established acts. James and Archie first crossed paths in their early twenties at a party in Oxford, where they instantly bonded over their shared love for electronic music. Heavily influenced by the 2000s progressive house and liquid drum & bass they grew up listening to, the now London-based duo have spent the last decade honing a sound of their own, blurring the lines between house, techno & progressive. 

My Friend, as they call themselves, started as a passion project & exploded onto the scene when Danny Howard featured their unsigned and unreleased tracks on Radio 1's 'Future Fire' in 2018. This pivotal moment marked the start of an impressive journey that has seen them tour the globe and release on some of dance music's most respected labels, cementing their status as one of house music’s most exciting rising stars. 

Renowned for a discography that masterfully weaves euphoric melodies over deep, driving basslines, their music consistently delivers exhilarating tracks destined for the dancefloor, earning them a loyal following and praise from industry heavyweights. With their sound evolving and momentum building, 2025 is set to be a defining year for the playful pair.

Marching into 2025 with the unveiling of SYREETA’S first-ever Essential Mx for Radio 1, the announcement of her debuts at Time Warp (GER), Lightning In A Bottle (USA), and Extrema (Bel) and sharing DJ booths with the likes of Skepta and Loco Dice from London’s Koko to Montreal’s Igloofest. 
 
As well as multiple award nominations and being named Carl Cox’s DJ/producer of 2024, SYREETA deservedly took home the Beatport’s People's Choice Award 2024.  A worthy winner who, in addition to residences with HE.SHE.THEY. And ANTS, SYREETA is a regular spinner at iconic parties like Mas Tiempo, Music On, Paradise, Elrow, Circo Loco, and Spain’s epic Brunch series. 
 
SYREETA’s eclectic style and vast crate digging have led to B2Bs with Benn Rodrigues, Cinthie, and Eats Everything, as well as sharing the bill with a who’s who of dance music’s finest, including Carl Cox, Honey Dijon, Marcel Dettmann, FJAAK, Ben Klock, Fisher, Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati, Eric Prydz, Black Coffee, Jamie Jones, The Blessed Madonna, Mall Grab, Midland, Jennifer Cardini, Ewan Mcvicar, Roi Perez, Enzo Siragusa, and Maya Jane Coles. The list is endless. 
 
Indeed, SYREETA has an uncanny ability to read and adapt to a crowd's energy. SYREETA’s sets, drawing on chunky basslines and melodic grooves from a palette of house and techno, have delighted dance floors around the world, alongside mixes and streams for BBC Radio 1, XTRA, HOR, Mixmag, Rinse, DJ Mag, Beatport and brought the heat to Ibiza Sonica Radio with her regular mix series, “SEEK” for the station. 
 
That is why SYREETA is as comfortable playing underground clubs like fabric (UK), Watergate (Ger), Thuishaven (NDL), Hafen 49 (Ger), Input (Spa) and Public Works (USA) as she is in superclubs such as London’s Drumsheds, Tobacco Dock and Printworks in London, Manchester’s Warehouse  Project, or Ibiza’s DC10, Amnesia, Pacha, HI, and Ushuaia.  
 
No stranger to festivals either, SYREETA has racked up appearances all over the globe, such as Glastonbury (UK), CRSSD (USA), Kappa Futur (IT), Creamfields (UK), Arc (USA), Lost Village (UK), Loveland (NDL), Zurich Openair (Sui), Hideout (CRO), Parklife (UK), Piknik Electronique (Can), Sonus (Cro), FSTVL (UK), Reading (UK) Strafwerk (NDL), Saga (Rom) and of course Coachella (USA) where she made her USA debut! 
 
SYREETA is also rapidly becoming as known for her productions as she is a DJ with support from virtually every tastemaker around. Releasing club bangers on the legendary Nervous Records, Idris Elba’s Sound International, Eats Everything’s Edible and HE.SHE.THEY. She has also remixed house heads Inner City and Shermanology as well as techno titans Dense & Pika. 2024 has also seen her own originals be remixed by Hammer and DJ Minx. There’s certainly more where that came from!  
 
SYREETA’s star is unquestionably showing no sign of slowing down in 2025.

Born and raised in Chicago, Seneca’s deep passion for music ignited during his first dance floor experience, setting the stage for his future in the scene. Over several years, he devoted himself to the local scene, secured multiple club residencies, and performed across the U.S. and Canada. Seneca boasts an impressive resume, having played for renowned promoters like Pure, React, Spundae and Godskitchen.

Notable for his skill in energizing dance floors, Seneca has shared stages with artists such as Armin Van Buuren, Dave Seaman, Gabriel & Dresden, Paul Van Dyk, The Crystal Method, and Tiesto. In 2007, Seneca founded Audio Logic Recordings, a platform nurturing emerging talent in Chicago and beyond. 

The label’s initial releases gained acclaim from electronic dance music heavyweights like Armin Van Buuren and Tiesto, earning spots on Beatport’s top download charts. With 15 releases in the first year, Audio Logic Recordings, driven by Seneca’s love for music, thrived, and built a devoted global following within the electronic music community.
