Michael Powers is a 29-year veteran in the credit union industry who has spent the last fourteen years of his career at Garden Savings Federal Credit Union.  Mr. Powers was recently named President and Chief Executive Officer of the credit union effective this past January 1st.  He began his career as a teller in 1993 and has risen through the ranks serving as a Vice President of Marketing and Compliance at his former employer and later, Chief Sales Officer / Vice President of Lending, Marketing, Business Development and Training for Garden Savings Federal Credit Union.  The credit union is the 8th largest in New Jersey, serving the financial needs of nearly 30,000 members and boasting over $420 million dollars in assets.
