Very clean and well produced, What recording platform are you using?

@tunde-fernandez: Thanks for listening! The A, B, and C sections were recorded in Sonar, X1 (64-bit) using Dim Pro. tassman, and NI FM8 (synth bass) plugins. The two-track SONAR master was imported into Ableton where I added the intro, ending, and acoustic piano overdubs. For the intro and ending, I used the NI Razor synth. So this tune was done using both SONAR (X1) and ABLETON LIVE (ver 8).

Good stuff bud... I'll be adding some of my own sooner than later...

The spacy, far-out yet funky intro settles into a more mainstream jazz vibe here.  I like the jazzy chord progressions in a spacy tune like this - this must be what a jazz lounge on Neptune must be like!  :-).  The piano is great and nicely complements the melody.  Well done.

Since Neptune is a gas giant, it has no known solid surface on which to stand or land a craft, manned or unmanned.  Even if there was a solid surface at some core level, the amount of gravity on Neptune would be too much for a person to survive. So a NEPTUNE LANDING in 2029 (or any other year) would appear to be impossible, even for an unmanned lander.  I will call this one a THOUGHT EXPERIMENT. However, it makes for a great sounding title to a (nonsensical?) musical composition.   This original musical composition is dedicated to the scientists and engineers at NASA who are simply the BEST IN THE WORLD.

Just playing around for the very first time with a Behringer Neutron Synth which is used to create a sub-bass EDM bass line.  Very simple bass part with a lame Hammond B3 lick added by me and a few lame electric piano licks thrown in for good measure around the vocal hook.  No claim to the vocals that are sliced up royalty free vocal samples just for some fun.   I plan to use the Behringer Neutron Synth a lot in the future with more complex bass lines - a very nice synth!

also any recording with BIRD and DIZZY - bebop 'till you drop - the coolest music that ever was!!!!
