It's hard to put into words the experience I had playing my own music to an amazing crowd that stuck around until the early hours of the morning at Origin Festival 2023. 

It was really great being able to play some of my favorite tunes I've made over the years, as well as a few unreleased gems, and a couple tracks from my bro Glyph!

Nothing ever ends in this universe. No information gets lost and nothing can disappear. Everything is just movement transforming into new movement. 

Mr. Hollywood doesn´t even look back, while he is leaving the apocalyptic west. Slowly he drives the sausage Beetle into the east, leaving the sunset and everything behind him. From now on, he is starting his great escape. 

Driving on empty roads while the radio plays sixties music, followed by poems of a lost generation that is questioning life in itself. While the east comes closer Mr. Hollywood feels kind of woozy, not knowing who he is, not knowing if he belongs to the westside or to the eastside.

 Slow Hip Hop beats fade away, while the wind blows mantras into his ear. The transformation has begun. He feels lost and lonesome, he is losing his orientation and then he starts to feel the change. Mr. Hollywood transforms into Mr. Bollywood. Rational knowledge combines itself with eastern philosophy, mathematical formulas turn into musical prayers. 

All knowledge is universal, every perspective is just subjective and everything is an interpretation, forced by a biochemical process inside the small thing that we call our head. We can only infiltrate our own mind, while we share and receive information and knowledge. Teaching and learning are always equal. Knowledge becomes a shared responsibility. 
We never go anywhere. We always stay in the nowhere. We always stay inside ourselves. 

After realizing that, Mr. Bollywood turns his head towards the beauty of the majestic nature that is surrounding him, knowing that his future path will guide him into the wild.

Altered Stasis is a music producer from Cape Town, South Africa. Born in 1994 he was introduced to Psytrance music and festivals at a very young age, as his father was involved with some of the first events in South Africa. 

At 16 he decided to take up music production and has been learning and building his style over the years. Having experience with a wide variety of genres, he blends elements of Hip-Hop, Trap, Reggae and Techno with the rolling basslines and soaring synths of Psytrance. 

Being a creative person and having experience in art and graphic design, he also makes all the cover art for his independent releases.

The goal of Altered Stasis is to upset the equilibrium and bring you some exciting journeys with music.

Rugrats are the Swiss psytrance duo that has rapidly risen to the top psytrance charts worldwide with their releases on Looney Moon Records and more highly renown record labels.  Coming from an instrumental education, Oli & Pat met in 2013 at psychedelic trance events in Basel (Switzerland), and began playing as a DJ duo shortly after.  In the same year, they started to produce music finding their soundscape within the deepest, dynamic psychedelic trance with an eye for quality, sharpness of the modulations and a minimalistic touch.

He began his musical journey as a guitarist in a rock band, and his music is now known for its intricate sound design and the way he weaves individual sounds into a cohesive story.  His ever-expanding 19" Eurorack system serves as a constant source of fresh sounds and inspiration, with a selection of modules that provide crunchy analog FM leads, twisted tones, and immersive soundscapes. Originally from The Hague, Netherlands, Adrian Newgent is a unique sound composer known for his ever-evolving and immersive live performances. First recognized for his outstanding Modern Error project, he has recently been developing a new facet of his musical universe under his own name, crafting a singular sound identity that blends hypnotic elements with DnB, bass music, and tribal influences—all delivered with rare intensity. His powerful sets have taken him to numerous stages and festivals across Europe.
Adrian’s approach is to fully immerse himself in the moment, letting each experience shape the journey. His performances leave space for improvisation, leading to ever-evolving sonic landscapes. Some, like this Pumpui Stage set at Ozora, are entirely improvised. As longtime admirers of his work, we are beyond excited to share this unique performance with you on Abyssaï 👏

This one was captured at Meditation Garden party in Belgium by Boom Shankar Prod. Lush party with darkprog killer lineup: Kromagon, FishEye and Mara. I played the first set of the party and started somehow smoothly.
Not sure of the tracklist as I built it on the fly and (as always) with CDs. I hope you enjoy the journey :)

 Eeriegeist is a forest psychedelic trance project developed by the young mind of Sebastian Salas residing in Mexico City. His first impressions on psychedelic music were on 2013, since that and after a few years experimenting with sound and improving his production techniques, the project takes his sonic exploration to a more groovy and deep psychedelic context managed through a complex arrange of carefully designed psychedelia. Eeriegeist is now part of Purple Hexagon and Squarelab Music artist roster, but he has also released multiple tracks on compilations under some of the best underground labels like: Spontaneous Aerobics, Bom Shanka Music, WooDog Recordings, Forestdelic Records, Digital Shamans, Dream Project, etc.
