Welcome along for the latest step in our journey into sound. as the tag line suggests, we’ve gone Deeper. 

This is Deeper Traxx. 

This is strictly for the heads. an opportunity to express our tastes with deeper, groovier house music that doesn’t quite slot into Sense Traxx well known club ready, dancefloor destroying sound. 

After a slew of great demo’s through, we’ve chosen Slovenian House Maestro, Alex Ranerro for our inaugural release on Sense Traxx sister label. He has a string of great releases on labels such as Glasgow Underground, Simma Black and MadTech. 

This ones a killer 3 tracker, Hard Case EP. 

The lead is Hard Case. This one has a skip in the step, a super distinctive groove, underpinned with solid kicks and nicely arranged percussion. Bassline driven, this is a true groover. 

Then we invited French deep house expert Sebb Junior to give his take on Hard Case. A real organ delight. Think Kerri Chandler and you’ve got the idea. Lovely pads, gorgeous vocal adlibs and great skippy hats give us that warm, fuzzy feeling. You’ll be hooked like we were. 

Lastly, but by no means least, Utopia, is an atmospheric masterpiece. The groove is strong with this one, wonderful surging pad work and killer percussion. Then come some beautifully arranged stabs. One for those lengthy sets. 

Well, there you have it folks. Welcome to Deeper Traxx.

Brother James specialises in house music in many different sub genes. Deep, Underground and Soulful house. James' Antiguan father influenced him massively music wise, listening to many different artists and styles of music growing up. He was dj'ing a lot of uk garage, especially at the height of it's popularity and was into the likes of DJ EZ, Tuff Jam, Todd Edwards to name a few. Making the switch over to Deep & Underground house was a natural progression musically. With the change of genre came new influences. Karizma, Marc Cotterell, Mike Millrain, Kerri Chandler are just some of the many inspirations and influences' which have helped his love for house music become stronger. With New artists such as Joe Olindo, Snazzy Traxx, Fizzikx Souldrifter, Martin Depp and Leandro D to name a few has broadened his musical scope with the Garage House sound. 
His style is as his weekly show states, a House music session of many different genres within house music spectrum!

Jordan Strong returns to Uniting Souls Music for the slinky after-hours ride of "Shine Down." Hot on the heels of "The Tribe, The Hive," the previous USM release from the Los Angeles-based DJ/producer, "Shine Down" is a hearty dose of flowing deep house mixed with a captivating touch of Italo disco. Simmering pads and spacey vocoder action lay over a prominent bass line and punchy rhythm kit. Echoed handclaps, disco toms, and cool electronic piano chords add to the track's dance-floor appeal. It's potent stuff.

The remixes are varied and equally cool. L.A.'s SAAND (Dilate, Sol Selectas) creates a psychedelic interpretation that wouldn't be out of place in the dark backroom of a late-90s Bay Area underground party. Pacific northwest veteran Michael Manahan (Hunt & Gather) delivers a crisp, insistent take that reveals layers and cosmic vibrations throughout its runtime. Lee Houser (Proper Slap, Filter Music) — the Seattle duo of John Lee and Simon Houser — remodel "Shine Down" into a lush and hypnotic slice of classic deep house. And then Jordan Strong returns with his Beachcomber Remix, offering a bigger sound accented by a rousing 80s-style guitar solo. Another stacked, quality release from Uniting Souls.
