In 1989, an Italo-house band named Sueño Latino released a self titled track, which went on to become one of the most revered electronic music records of all time. Louis Botella is now set to release a sensational remake on Emerald City this September. 

The track itself samples part of Manuel Göttsching’s influential E2-E4, an album known for its role in the development of house and techno. Fast forward to 2018 and the record is again set to be revived thanks to Louis Botella, and with the blessing and support of Göttsching and Expanded Music. 

Botella explains “it was one of the first house tracks that I played in my sets when I started DJing in the early 90's. When I listen to the original I always have the same feeling. The song is warm, catchy and hypnotic. When I started working on the cover, I wanted to keep this same feeling. It was important for me to recreate part of the original sounds but also to put my personal touch in the track." On his interpretation of the track, Louis has stayed true to the original, replaying each part and adding an extra dimension to the tracks through a sparkling piano topline, a new vocal hook and dreamy arpeggiations.  

Louis’ passion for the art of DJing was sparked from a young age. At sixteen he got his first gig at a club in Luxemburg and released his first record in 1998. Since then, he’s released on respected labels such as Classic Music Company, Ovum Records and Poker Flat Recordings.

Let's take it back to the 90's. radio burbling to the sound of the London Pirates, the smell of skunk coming out of the flats, cans of stella. then come evening it was all to the Colosseum, Moschino and Burberry, champagne bubblin'. 

This Garage sound has been bubbling away in the underground for a few years with loads of old stuff resurfacing and lots of cool new stuff starting to come through.

The lead is by the same name. a barnstormer of a record.. giving you that 90's groovy feel. think Banana Republic / 24 Hour Experience and you're nearly there! This is a superb bumpy cut. one for the heads! Pads, bassline and one hell of a groove! Get it up ya! 

Then we move forward with a remix from Bristolian Dr Shemp. His deeper dubby cut of Just Talkin' is warm up / afters material. slammin kicks yet atmospheric, driving yet has a deeper groovy feel. It's versatile and gorgeous. We would recommend 7am. 

Rounding off the EP is a rerub from The Checkup- a Kerri Chandler infused houser, taking it slightly stateside! Again very atmospheric and spaced out but a killer organ line makes everything soulful! A lovely record! Hats to die for. This will worm your way into the bag and never leave!

Having been at the forefront of dance music for over a decade, James Connolly revives his house-focused Dance System project for this first-rate single summer for Eats Everything’s Edible label. 

If slammin’ house bangers are what you like, then Dance System delivers them in spades.  An infectious piano motif and thumping kick shapes the lead track, ‘Please’, which pumps relentlessly, bountiful with playful vocal chops, tension building strings and DJ trickery edits.  The gloriously titled ‘Make Funky House Great Again’ certainly makes a damn fine stab at doing just that.  A skippy rhythm underpins some dope filter work on the sample, a nod perhaps to the French sounds of Roule/Bangalter, but totally fresh with Dance System’s modern sound stamped all over it.

Connolly has left an indelible mark as a progressive producer and DJ under both his L-Vis 1990 and Dance System aliases, alongside co-founding the highly influential label, Night Slugs.  Following Dance System releases on Clone and Ultramajic, Connolly took a hiatus from producing house music, as he focused on other projects, reviving the alias in April with the Wind 'Em Up EP, on Monkeytown Records, which was supported by Calvin Harris, Peggy Gou, DJ Boring, Ben UFO, Modeselektor, Sally C, Éclair Fifi, Mella Dee and our very own Eats Everything.

Sense Traxx founder Simon Shaw returns to the label this July with the 'Music & Rhythm' EP, comprising three
originals from the UK artist.

The UK's Simon Shaw has been steadily establishing himself in the global house scene over the past few years,
initially making his mark with a series of events in the UK as Sense Traxx before going on to launch the label
and further developing his own and the labels classic meets contemporary house sound.

Opening the release is 'Yeaaahhhh!', a bumpy house cut fuelled by swinging snares, organic percussion and
choppy stab hits while soaring vocal swells, tension building pad sweeps and plucked synths ebb and flow
within. 'Jazz Flute' follows and as the name would suggest embraces a jazzy aesthetic courtesy of wind
melodies, atmospheric vocal recordings and soft Rhodes chords whilst stirring in a classic swung drum groove
and further house tropes in the form of square wave bass and gritty stabs.

Title-cut 'Music & Rhythm' then closes the package with a more groove-driven feel, laid out over seven minutes
with a robust rhythm, chopped vocal hit,s vacillating chord sequences and bright strings all subtly blooming
throughout.

Always staying one step ahead of the game, Matthias Tanzmann is back with a new album that will break the traditional model. Entitled Round And Round and due on his own mighty label Moon Harbour, the record will come out track by track over the course of autumn and winter 2019, rather than as one whole collection.

Round and Round comes three years after Momentum, Tanzmann’s last album and one that provided a snapshot of the deeper sounds he was enjoying at the time. This third full length is a more widescreen overview of his entire career and comes just after he was nominated, for the sixth time, as the Best Tech House DJ in the annual Ibiza DJ Awards.

The album was all written in the last year, but reflects every facet of the artist’s sound, so unfolds something like a career-long musical diary: from the collaboration with long-time friend and Poker Flat chief Steve Bug, which harks back to the early days of deep house, via newer connections and modern techno with Rebuke, tracks with old companions like Mathias Kaden, and on to new creative links with contemporary stars like Mihalis Safras and Black Circle. These collaborations with friends old and new define the record but never detract from Tanzmann’s own superb solo cuts. Sci-fi house, deep cut tech, warm vocal tracks and peak time pumpers are all unified by sleek and stylish production that is utterly contemporary.

This is an autobiographical album informed by another busy year of gigs at major festivals around the world, his famous Circoloco residency at DC10 and further Ibiza gigs everywhere from ANTS to Elrow to Music On. September also saw the release of the Better Lost Than Stupid album Wild Slide, a collaborative work with pals Davide Squillace and Martin Buttrich that shows that decades after first starting out, Tanzmann is still very much at the forefront of the global underground scene.
