I am a musician, songwriter, producer exploring the sonic fabric of music, and voicing ideas about life, the universe and whatever may steal my attention. I'd like to take you on a journey. 
I think the earliest music I listened to was dad’s Johnny Cash and Frankie Lane records. Eventually I found The Sweet and Deep Purple and then Zeppelin and Sabbath. All of these bands blew my mind. Heavy riffs and in your face vocals seemed to hit the spot. I just had to get a guitar and learn what these cats were doing, and I did. Van Halen and Nugent followed, and then Queen, in particular when I heard Ogre Battle.
The logical next step was to get into a band and play. Mad Shadows was the first regular gigging band I play in formed with a couple of great mates. We had a lot of fun if nothing else.
Keyboards were always a fascination, particularly John Lord’s playing (RIP man), and in the early 80s I got hold of a Roland Juno 6 (still got it too), and opened up to Human League, Heaven 17, Simple Minds and many other great synth bands. I got myself a Teac 3440 4 track recorder at about the same time, and started making SFX circuits to use in Mad Shadows with the Roland. I loved the experimental attitude in the 80s and embraced the cool sounds. Other bands followed where the synth was becoming more central and got some good use. 
With the 90s, there came a shift back to the guitar and live work with The Big Bang, Bent Beyond Belief, Hidden Agenda and other jams with my great friend Stephen (again, RIP brother). The Gunners, Sound Garden and Pearl Jam were reclaiming rock n roll, and my six string trigger fingers were itching. The old 3440 was starting to tire and so I went digital in the mid 90s. 
The 2000s were fruitful. Exploring a range of different textures and rhythms the PC was worked into the ground. An originals band Steel and Stone, and then a Zeppelin covers band followed giving the PC recording a rest. Live jamming is hot. There is nothing like it. 
In about 2007 I returned to recording my originals and produced 3 sets to 2010. In 2011, I played with The Kamikaze Flying Club for a short while where we had some more fun in the live format. Itching to write some more originals, I left to focus on something else entirely and found I had a few more ideas I thought should be articulated and recorded a double set in 2014.
The bulk of the list here is from 2014, however, I will throw in some earlier stuff if I may. I hope you enjoy the sounds. Cheers.
