After its outstanding reception following its initial release back in January, Wankelmut & Emma Louise's infectious single - 'My Head Is A Jungle' returns with a souped up package and is set to be released worldwide on 15TH September via Positiva. Wankelmut who has mainly been deejaying in underground clubs in Berlin such as Sisyphos and MIKZ, became 'Newcomer of the Year' last year (GROOVE Magazine) and has been in high demand as both DJ and Remixer ever since. Wankelmut has a very entertaining and well crafted way of deejaying with a huge variety of styles from Deep House to Techno. Beside playing all over Europe he remixed Gossip, Jay Haze, Lukas Graham and various other underground records which established his status within the Techno House Scene. On his 24th birthday in December 2011 Wankelmut aka Jacob Dilßner uploaded his unofficial remix for Asaf Avidan's "Reckoning Song' to Soundcloud. More than one year later the now official remix has sold 1.3 Million copies on Sony/Columbia, scored over 100 Million Youtube Plays and entered the #1 spot in 8 european countries, as well as being the best-selling track on Beatport last year.

In cooperation with the talented Australian singer Emma-Louise, the duo deliver a finely tuned piece of melodic brilliance. Wankemut's faultless Tech-house production, and Emma-Louise's blissful vocals will have you instantly hooked and will be circling around your head for days to come. During DGTL Festival 2014 the founder of Stil Vor Talent, Oliver Koletzki will be laying down his deeply melodic sound that has made its mark on the global dance scene for the better part of the last decade. 'I am O.K.' reads the title of Koletzki's upcoming album. In 2014, after 26 years as a musician, he clearly achieved what he set out to do. In the spring his new album drops, he's touring the US, and then he’ll be moving the studio and office to Berlin's Holzmarkt. Hypothetically he could have a bit of a rest, but he wouldn't think of it, cause he's having way too much fun.

The Canadian's producer's 'Steel And Stone' delighted electronic music fans not only with her cutting sounds but also pristine vocals which were the highlight of the entire release. 3rd Avenue's big brother Sound Avenue has always been an outlet for the more high profile projects and Nevee's newest single is certainly well in line with the labels distinct vision. With her fans longing to hear her haunting voice again the Canadian producer has delivered something that is truly compelling here. Nevee's newest studio creation and first single for Sound Avenue is entitled 'So Intentional' and it comes with a remix from the one and only Andre Sobota. The slow building harmonic energy of 'So Intentional' is immediately captivating and it gently escalates to reveal a crisp set of bass tones which bubble with effervescent character. The uniquely groovy foundation sets the perfect backdrop for the brilliance that is to come. All great records have magic moments and the utterly haunting introduction of Nevee's vocals more than fall into that category. Emotionally gripping and with a deep intensity Nevee's breathy vocals truly shine against that funky harmonic foundation. Short drops combined with dynamic fills keep the energy building while a smoother resonance comes over the record towards the break. The short interlude provides the necessary tension for the return of Nevee's meaty kick which sounds even larger against the now more down stripped framework. The records conclusion refocuses on the flowing harmonies which tastefully build to an emotional climax that just leaves you wanting more. The lone remix is provided by Andre Sobota who is making his return to Sound Avenue following an excellent remix of Daraspa's 'Rendro' from April of this year. The Brazilian producer should need little introduction as he's been one of the most loved progressive house producers of the last two years. Andre's rise to electronic music stardom all began in 2012 when his remix of Coldplay & Rihanna's 'Princess Of China' was picked up and played by Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1. Subsequent signings by Pryda Friends, Anjunadeep and microCastle have yielded what many consider to be some of the best electronic music releases of the last year. Andre is now one of the most sought after remixers of the moment and a firm favourite of Above & Beyond who have featured him numerous times on their infamous Group Therapy radio show. Andre's interpretation of 'So Intentional' finds the Brazilian producer putting his own club friendly twist on the track. The tough beats and perfectly processed vocal elements are a match made in heaven while the uniqueness of Andre's sound design really shines here. The two tension filled breaks will undoubtedly go down as some of the Brazilian's finest work of the year and the dance floor reactions should be suitably immense as a result.

Introducing a fresh electronic pairing as AZIMUTE (Quenum & Cesare Marchese aka Cesare vs Disorder), Crosstown Rebels get set to present a glowing debut EP comprising three original cuts of pure and understated class. Lead track ‘Control’ pulses with robotic sex appeal as creepy sluggish grooves and low-end swing collide with hypnotic percussion and rumbling bass. ‘Always’ by contrast begins life as a more skittish affair, until an unexpected and powerful bluesy soul vocal and undercurrent of UK bass pervades this ever-evolving sonic framework. Closing the package, ‘Where Is The Magic’ shows AZIMUTE at their most frenetic and energetic, where the pacey percussion and propulsive groove is interjected with a dose of weirdness. AZIMUTE’s statement of intent is a bold and playful one, conveying the raw talents of two of electronic music’s true heads and masters.

AZIMUTE is a new musical project combining the energies of rising techno DJ-producer Cesare Marchese and veteran DJ­-musician Quenum. They became close when working together via Serialism on Quenum’s latest artist album ‘Face To Face’ and quickly realised they share a common musical vision and way of­ life. With this debut release on Crosstown Rebels and another forthcoming EP due to drop on Derrick May’s Transmat Records, it’s clear the duo are about to set techno hearts racing.

Cesare Marchese (aka Cesare vs Disorder) is the freshman in the band, but no newcomer to electronic music. His productions have been released on top labels such as BPitch Control, Vakant, Dumb Unit and Get Physical. He was named “Beatport’s Ones to Watch” in 2009 and plays regularly at top events and festivals worldwide. His experience stretches to all aspects of the techno universe; he’s been running his label Serialism since 2007 and promotes label nights at Watergate in Berlin and other top clubs in Europe.

Quenum is also well­ known in the scene and well respected for his longevity and quality contributions. He started his first label Access 58 in London in the mid 90's and later co­-founded Cadenza Records with Luciano, composing with him the techno anthem Orange Mistake. His discography stretches over decades and continents, and includes top labels such as Soma, Crosstown Rebels and NovaMute among many others.

On a mission to bring smiles and an element of surprise back to the dance floor, Berlin imprint Arms & Legs continues to build on it's solid foundation of quality releases featuring an eclectic mix of deep grooves, blissful melodies, throbbing bass lines and some good ol funk. Now in it's third year, the label is set to release 'Motion's Twelve' it's first album compilation of all exclusive new material. The 12-track release showcases a breadth of new and established talent from their stable, including the likes of Sascha Braemer, Hugo, Harry Axt and Kristin Velvet to newcomers such as Sqim, Matthew K and Le Hot Club. Label heads Daniel Steinberg and Nils Ohrmann also make an appearance, pitching in a shimmering tech house bouncer and deep rolling house cut respectively. Frontman, songwriter, musician and straight up entertainer, the inimitable Ali Love has many sides. Aboard a non-­stop thrill ride as part of Infinity Ink and Hot Natured throughout 2012/2013, the dust was only beginning to settle when Ali Love dropped his third solo album ‘P.U.M.P.’ on Crosstown Rebels at the height of summer. Described by Mixmag as “his best work to date” P.U.M.P is the pinnacle of Ali’s life long journey through broad spectrum of music styles. An album that conveys the building blocks for one of the most distinctive voices in UK dance music, Ali’s refusal to stay in his box has produced a piece of work that’s the perfect antidote for modern day ‘track’ culture. 'P.U.M.P.' spans psychedelic house, cosmic disco and soulful downtempo all with the common thread of Ali’s golden vocals. One of the standout tracks from this cult summer album is next single ‘Perfect Picture’, an uplifting flash back to rave swagger with flashes of old school breaks. Original dubstepper Skream, crossover star Route 94 and close collaborator Luca Cazal alongside Dubka all offer up their distinct interpretations to the psychedelic mixing pot.

Luca Cazal is one quarter of the formidable Hot Natured and one half of Infinity Ink with Ali Love. With a long-running relationship with Ali in both life and music and a solo alias on the rise, Luca was a natural choice of remixer. Here with ex Cazals band mate Dubka, ‘Perfect Picture’ is given a stripped back techy framework with warping synth patterns for a late night trip. Getting named one of Rinse FM’s artists to watch in 2014, Route 94’s rise to prominence has been rapid. Championed by BBC radio tastemakers, appearing at festivals worldwide and producing a track for Katy B’s latest album as well as vocal anthem feat. My Love feat Jess Glynne’ (both via Rinse), Route 94’s twist on ‘Perfect Picture’ is another bona fide bomb with a killer build up, heavy low-end and bleep filled hypnotic groove.

Ali Love’s last seven releases, whether with Hot Natured, Infinity Ink or as solo artist, were all Radio One Essential New Tunes. Third solo album P.U.M.P was produced and co-written alongside Steve Dub (Chemical Brothers / Primal Scream) and Mark Ralph (Hot Natured / Hot Chip) and gained accolades across the board from tastemakers and media alike, a tour de force of “sumptuous summer sounds” (DJ Mag) and “willfully weird” and  “rarely less than entertaining” (Resident Advisor). Ali will be taking the album live on tour in the not too distant future.

Oliver Huntemann's Senso Sounds label plays host to Berlin legend Andreas Hen- neberg for three tech-house cuts for the witching hour, including the floor-smashing "Movember" and the hypnotic, slow-building groove of title track "Slyly".
All three tracks are subtle but direct, intense on headphones and devastating on the dancefloor, precision-tooled for any DJ worth his salt.

The rubbery groove of the title track demonstrates the technical mastery of a producer that has put his name to over 140 releases. Saturated with ear-fizzing details and under- pinned by a buoyant bass groove, it's a cut crying out for a massive system.
The crisp kick, foghorn stabs and circling bass of "Movember" build to a virtuoso climax - testimony to Henneberg's extensive experience in both the DJ booth and the studio. "Caption" rounds off a fine release for the Voltage Musique Records founder, flashing you its snake eyes to hypnotic effect, with scything repetitions that demand complete submission to the rhythm.

Marbert Rocel, the East German indie pop’n’jazz sensation and live band just brought their third album “Small Hours” to life, capturing a deep sense for beats, smoking, songs, indie pop trips including leftfield house- and jazzy affairs. Well, it’s true, Marbert Rocel music is light and sunny, but they working hard with patience, belief, a lot of cigarettes, and dozens of live gigs around Europe, to spread their charm with passion and a wicked glints in their eyes. There is this lack of pretention in their music which everybody loves, actually people from the techno, soul, jazz or pop worlds even all seems to be convinced.
