Mladen Tomic follows up the work Kostas Maskalides and Tony Dee on Montreal's budding techno imprint La Famiglia Recordings. Tomic provides a heavy-hitting four track EP, which also features the talents of Belfast duo Loco & Jam (Toolroom, Stereo Productions) and Mallorca artist Alberto Ruiz (Bedrock, Terminal M). Ruiz has rendered a thumping rework for the release and you can catch it in its entirety exclusively via When We Dip today.

Layton Giordani makes his Truesoul debut with a pumping, three track release. The high energy tracks showcase Layton’s youthful and fresh approach to production. ‘Unspoken’, holding a pounding kick drum and thumping techno sound, is the heavier of the three tracks whilst ‘Misunderstood’ and ‘Trusting You’ cut a lighter groove. The samples are uplifting, sounds imaginative and the percussion is tight - this EP is not to be missed.

The true techno dream team of Dubfire & Oliver Huntemann revisit their Elements project from a few years ago with a new series of killer remixes. Terra - originally released in 2011, did all sorts of damage to dance-floors across the globe. Now, it’s all set to do it again thanks to this Joseph Capriati Remix. The Italian techno headliner has grown into a major force on the scene in recent years, and here delivers a signature slice of muscular, driving techno - taut, dramatic and devastating. Paired with a remix of the now seminal Feugo Julien Jeweil’s remix also hits the spot - the track received a 2016 overhaul with some of Jeweil’s signature flair. The Frenchman has been a constant figure on the top of various charts and line ups for some time, and its easy to see why - Fuego is stripped back machine funk primed for big systems and even bigger moments.

Holding within a dark, psychedelic presence, the tracks included on ‘Behemoth’ are full of ecstatic, soaring peaks and plunging lows held together by tight grooves defined with heavy rolling bass, stomping kick drums, and hard pounding snares. 

Holstberry’s signature production approach gained support from internationally renowned labels such as Deeperfect, Funk n’ Deep, and IAMT to name a few.
