'Techno veteran Petar Dundov makes his debut on Hicky & Kalo's label Plaisirs Sonores Records with his new track 'Neopar', a beautiful deep progressive track filled with atmospheric bells and cosmic pads.

On remix duty, also making his debut on the label, is the renowned Cid Inc. The respected Finnish producer utilizes the melodic touch of the bells from the original track and raises the tempo, creating a peak-time progressive cut.

To close out the package, the label bosses themselves lift the energy on their remix with a blend of dynamic drums and a bouncy bass-line.

Hicky & Kalo say: 'It's such an honor to welcome Petar & Cid Inc on our label. They are two of our biggest inspirations since the beginning of our careers. So it's a privilege to have been able to work with them. We hope you will enjoy this great release and you can be sure it's not the last time we will work with them.'

Born in Zagreb in the early '70s, Petar Dundov's career in dance music stretches back the best part of 20 years, but it's only in the new millennium that he's been using his own name for his productions. Over the years he's graced many of the world's most prestigious and best-loved techno institutions - including mega-festivals I Love Techno, EXIT, Awakenings and Wire, and cutting-edge clubs like Berghain, Matter (RIP), Womb, Air, Fuse and Space. He counts a long list of heavy labels on his back catalogue like Cocoon, Systematic, SCI+TEC, Music Man, MOOD and Last Night On Earth, to name just a few.

Petar Dundov makes intelligent electronic music that breaks boundaries, moves feet and twists minds. He is without a doubt one of the most inspiring, original and daring producers in electronica, and with the likes of Sven Väth, Laurent Garnier, Dubfire, Nicole Moudaber, Adam Beyer, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, and Danny Tenaglia amongst his fans, it would be hard to disagree.'

Matthias Meyer and a trio label of debutants make up the fourth instalment of the much-loved ‘Watergate Affairs’ series.

Initiated in 2016, the series assembles a collection of top-quality tracks that otherwise could not fit into Watergate’s busy release schedule, such is the strong pool of music the label draws from.

Emerging Dutch producer Budakid joins the label with ‘Orrery’, after previously making an impact with cuts on Last Night On Earth, Einmusika and Lost & Found. The track’s dreamy soundscapes and otherworldly energy make for a transcendental mood maker. Matthias Meyer is suitably superb with ‘Interlude’, as delicate strings and a muffled melody line gently wash against a shore of sparse beats. Henri Bergmann & Julian Wassermann link for ‘Maenad’, as punchy grooves bring the EP into peak-time territory as a multi-layered chord pattern hits with a satisfying headrush. Danish artist Nandu rounds out the package with ‘My Mystery Is A Mystery’. It’s the kind of succulent end-of-nighter every set needs as uplifting pads, stirring keys and a buttery bassline glide together in sweet unison.

Modeplex adds a magnificent debut album to the list of incredible releases by Steyoyoke. “Days of Change” features 6 original tracks and a remix by Morttagua. The EP fulfills your mind with its uplifting and dark tunes. A melange infused with emotions and melodies to soothe your soul.

The first track, “Metanoia”, presents a dark and powerful soundscape; a combination that takes you towards ecstasy. Next, “Earth” is a mix of harmonies accompanied by dark elements giving the right amount of magic to heal and dance. “Earth” was also remixed by Morttagua, turning the track into an even deeper atmosphere, pulsating with breathtaking beats. “Days of Change”, raw and heavy, is a trip towards the stars where dreams come to life. “I Miss You”, brings you towards the softer side yet emotionally fulfilling, showcasing peaceful and longing qualities with the added vocals.
