Carlo Ruetz, the Rostock bred DJ and producer whose career exploded around a decade ago, returns to Senso with a four-tracker of blistering, impactful techno. Title track Proton, leads the charge - a high octane cut built around an unhinged bassline and ferocious percussion. It’s a sure
fire party starter, as is the rest of the EP. X1 starts as a chugging groover, before slowly unfurling into a gnarly example of contemporary techno. Next up is the aptly titled Twisted, which grows
into a monster cut through acidic basslines and an insistent, hypnotic groove. Last but not least is The Edge, another example of Ruetz’s skills in expertly leading a dancefloor. Taking the signature
sound design he has become celebrated for, the track finds a tension and release that will go over big with DJs of many persuasions this year.

Originaire de Mulhouse, Neko a découvert la techno en 1999 par le biais de la trance, et a commencé à mixer en 2023 avec un style initialement orienté tech house. Au fil du temps, il a développé un univers plus sombre et mental, enrichi par la peak techno berlinoise, l’acid et la techno suisse/alémanique. Son école tech house lui a permis d’acquérir une technique très propre, tout en explorant des grooves hypnotiques et des textures immersives.

Ses influences vont de Ritchie Hawtin à Space 92, en passant par Amelie Lens et d’autres figures majeures de la scène techno. Que ce soit de la minimal ou de la peak techno, les sets de Neko sont toujours intenses, linéaires ou prévisibles ? Il ne connaît pas ce mot. Chaque mix est pensé pour emmener le public dans un voyage musical progressif, plein d’énergie et de punch.

Hello! My name is Matyas Muller, alias Sabda. This stage-name means “Sound” in sanskrit language. I have begun to write music in 1995, my teacher was one of my best friends, Laszlo Zizics alias Fanta from Hotelsinus. Our first live act was called Evilcube (Mayday, Excalibur) and took place in 1997. We have played together a lot; we established a band called Ultrahomogen, under this name we played drummandbass, jungle, and break. After a while I started to learn and test my Dj skills paralelly to music writing. In 2000 Dj Clairvo and Blondino invited me, and finally became the member of the Mustbeat Crew. Few years later I made remixes for Korai Orom, and Sid. In 2004 I was the exhibitor and organizer of the first Street Art Exhibition in Budapest. Also at this time I started to organise a lot of parties for the Mustbeat Crew, and later this became my main profile. This organizing profile grew out of the Crew as a different project, named the Eggpack Creative Community. Eggpack concentrates just only on the events and what’s behind the scenes. Since 2005 we worked together with Adam (_ad) and made hundreds of parties, fashion shows, concerts and exhibition – all kind of non-weekday gigs. Certanly music writing, and Dj playing, bakelite & cd ,controller with Serato program. Collecting is keep going on in my styles drumandbass, dubstep, downtempo, and reggae. My latest release was on the selection of the Tilos Radio, the “Soundboy Surrounded” playing together with Mc Colombo & “Can’t Handle” with Mc Coppa.
