The co-founder of Beats Of No Nation @beatsofnonationradio sits in the Electrocorp Mixtape sofa to spraed one hour of atmostpheric music selection.

A master of his ow art, Jad & The @jad-lee delivers genres bending productions and mixes for almost 10 years, and while his usual musical blends generally aim to make you dance, this new mixtape from the Australian artist follows a different path.

In these times of self exploration and home centric activities, Jad & The offers us a mix to be listened to. The selection is introduced with several downtempo tracks, that morphes into blossoming Ambient kickless sounds. The mix then sails through synthpads-driven electronic waves, chill hazy balearic house seas, to eventually strands on the infinite shores of breakbeat.

Next into the mix series is Josh Caffe - a man you will have no doubt come across at some stage in your musical journey - and if not, you'll almost certainly be grateful for the introduction now. 

It's fair to say Josh is a master of a number trades within music, having made a name for himself as a selector, playing shows from Panorama Bar, live with Hannah Holland, all the way up to one of the world's largest festival crowds, with his residency at BLOCK9 at Glastonbury. 

It's arguably equally, if not more so, as an artist which has enabled Josh to make his imprint on the Sonisphere. His unique production style combined with his vocals has seen him achieve a discography of highly coveted releases on his own label, Night Sheen, as well as outlets such as Nervous Records, Crosstown Rebels, BPitch and Dixon Avenue Basement Jam's to name a few. His collaborations with scene legends such as Honey Dijon and Paranoid London have also received much praise, and certainly worth checking out if you haven't done so already.

This mix encapsulates Josh's penchant and encyclopedic knowledge of selecting in dance music. Notes of Acid, House and Techno combine and echo throughout, providing one of the most intriguing dancefloor temptations we have received in a long while.

4 years later we arrive at HAWSMIX numero 50. A nice round number to round off an absolute shocker of a year. This mix however, is most definitely not a shocker... it's an absolute rocker.

We've being eyeing up @jaycarder to record a mix for us for quite some time and she has not disappointed us. 

Jay’s been steadily making a name for herself as a truly mediative radio DJ, currently holding down three radio shows at Soho Radio. 'House of Carder' for experimental downtempo, 'The Spotlight' for artist interviews and club-ready bangers, and '4 To The Floor' with her house dance collective. 2021 will see her also start shows on Bristol’s Noods and Brighton’s 1BTN as well as WWFM. She also co-runs the fantastic Erbium Records who have some very decent releases under their belt that you should check out!
