Hc Kurtz produces techno and electronic based music. Having meddled with acoustic instruments in his youth he later fell in love with Dance, Techno and Electronica and moved artistically towards using analogue and digital tools. Inspired by synthesised sound, film scores, dancefloor Techno and rumbling bass frequencies, Kurtz has developed a unique sound that is continually mutating in a dynamic and progressive manner. Originally from Scotland, where he began to DJ and produce, Kurtz has now been based in Berlin for a number of years where his deep love of Techno has been cultivated.

With his track "Zwischenwelt" AIO had his Parquet debut last year in July. Now he is back with a full 3-track EP called "Melaphorie".
"Music can often explain feelings better than words” - something you could also say about the work of the Leipzig based producer, who got into techno music after he moved from his suburb home into the city of Leipzig. Impressed by the diversity of sounds, he started to play DJ-sets and produced his first own tracks in 2013. His music is characterised by variable soundscapes with an eye for detail. Strong kick-bass-grooves meets melodic sketches.

'Qilla Records strike out with a superb new EP from Vridian which finds the Delhi based producer exploring the sounds of darker disco and indie dance.

Vridian has been crafting melancholic melodies and driving grooves both as a DJ and producer for some time. He spent a brief stint as resident at Vancouver’s acclaimed after-hours nightclub Gorg-O-Mish, and with releases on international imprints such as Manjumasi, Traum Schallplatten and Nie Wieder Schlafen he is picking up a deserved international profile.

Fantastic opener ‘Knowbot’ is a kicking, club-ready cut with crisp claps and twinkling keys raining down the face of the drums. It feels adventurous and full of hope as it casts a real spell over all who hear it.
The second superbly crafted offering here is ‘Night Creature’ with its surging drums and beautiful ambient pads swirling round the groove. It’s another expansive track that takes you into a wide open cosmos and leaves you in awe.

These sounds show another new side to this artist while also slotting in next to the sort of house and techno he is well known for.'

It all started with us recording a few modules to sequence, then the arrangement, mixing, creating artwork and even mastering.

A completely DIY project that finally lead to this release.
