Two previous Laconica records were mentioned on Trommel Top100 and now we are finally back. 
After a short break, Ukrainian Lviv based label presents a powerful 4-tracker. This time we stamped on wax tunes which we tested on dance floors for quite some time. On A-side, label owner Alex Pervukhin drops a banger 'Thomas Jefferson' which you may have heard in IO (Mulen) sets. Classic MPC swing plus analog synths remind of that real tech-house feel that we all miss. 'Most People’ on A2 is a deep and sexy tune which will be perfect for warmups. 

Some different vibes on the flip side. Lviv's finest Ocean T creates a really magical atmosphere in 'Moving On', which will be perfect for euphoric moments of every set (we know it well because we played it for 2 years!). And final track is deep and trippy 'Breathe In' - the perfect ending of this EP.

Negentropy kicks off the summer with it’s fourth release. This time courtesy of the unstoppable french groove wizard, Sweely. Fusing Jazz and Minimal House elements, Sweely will have you throwing shapes wherever the needle drops. Three tracks of high energy deep house funk, club ready and bound to do damage. The legend goes that the Jade Emperor summoned the animals of his kingdom in a great race that helped him establish the order of the Zodiac. Honouring this tradition, Dixia Sirong have called upon twelve collaborators to enter the harmonious cosmos of their musical intellect. With this twelve-part release, they pay tribute to these mythical animals, celebrating their respective sensibilities.

The first creature to reach the Heavenly Gates of Dixia Sirong’s melodious realm is none other than cunning percussionist Vitess. With an astute understanding of rhythm and an incomparable vivacity, the man truly bears the marks of a frontrunner asserting his name in the game. Generating sharp beats and transient waves, Vitess perfectly balances out the meditative hum of Dixia Sirong’s distinctive effervescence.

It’s after sharing the decks for many years and refining their shared taste in music that Josh Rawl and Massaï decided to form their own collective and record label: Sentaku. The journey started with an encounter that promptly reached an equilibrium: the story of two friends representing Ying and Yang, advocating two opposing forces able to reach a sense of balance when united. Meaning “selection” in Japanese, Sentaku was born in 2016 and has since aimed to develop its own personal imprint on the electronic music world through its distinctive aesthetic. More than a musical journey, the label also promotes a visual platform to be lived as an experience, with the help of graphic designer and animator JXQ.  

By building this collective, the founding duo wants to showcase the skills and productions of the new talents they encounter along their musical journey. Above all, Sentaku is a family, a creative community striving for diversity, quality and innovation.
