Besided their own alter ego's the 2 are also 2/3 of the producer trio Sonic Resistance. On top of that Katia has been an integral part of the scene through also curating the bookings at Vienna's PRST club. Those 2 are definitely keeping busy and you should keep an eye or two out for them. Having been long aquainted with both of them we are happy to now officially welcome both to the LMML family.

POUTCAST #50: Massaï

For the 35th installment of our podcast series, we have a selector that has been going from strength to strength recently. Junki Inoue is as talented as they come. The Japanese-born, but London-based DJ somehow manages to make the heaviest of beats sound light and refined. His programming, razor-sharp mixing, refined curation, and humble attitude have earned him spots at some of the dopest venues and festivals around. Through his label SAISEI he also introduces long-forgotten obscurities from The Land of the Rising Sun to discerning collectors and selectors in Europe. OPIACAST - Angelo PGM - #11

@botch-546294028 was first influenced by landmark french electronic groups of the 2000s such as Justice and Daft Punk. His electronic music education took place later on in the East quarters of London where he now lives. He has nurtured a true love for the underground house and techno spending his weekends between the dance floors of Fold, Fabric and 9294, or on boat raves along the Hackney waters. Collectives such as Phonoteque or Cartulis - just to name a few - were a turning point for him, and naturally turned him into a wax passionate and an avid collector. This mix is the fruit of this journey and what he hopes to be a first step of a longer, complex and unexpected path.

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria has always been an 
avant-garde spot to yield talent in the dance music area. 

Luis aka Arnic, is a young selector and producer, currently based in Madrid, where he developed his own particular sound for his dj sets, also, showcasing why labels like Mindhelmet, Tresydos, Airfunk or Oscuro London have taken good notice of him, creating his own little space in the underground music scene. 

He is eclectic in rhythms, with a very electronic main line, keeping a timeless kind-of melodies and funky basslines, are to be found during his performances.

Icing on the cake : his energy is matched only by his kindness, and for all those reasons we're glad to have him to open the season of our dear radio shows.

With the star of Torino crew Outcast firmly set to skywards, one of the driving forces Cristian Sarde is one of the minds that has piloted them to the lofty space they now occupy. Having been throwing some of the most outrageous low key raves on the continent, Their laser scoped booking policy, Keen ear for a hidden wax gem, a group of like minded and highly focused individuals were always going to go far. They have a lot going for them but none of this would be possible without talent and Cristian exemplifies the hard work of the whole team. 

Bouncing between dark, electro charged house and techno and more obscure ambient touches, the Outcast sound is wide ranging as is the guests they invite to their parties. Recent headliners have included Bakked, Nicolas Lutz, Z@p, KINO, Detroit In Effect, as well as co-hosting parties with Kappa Futur, Melcure & Distrikt Paris, My Own Jupiter, and all this, incredibly since the summer. Cristian is right in the middle of all of it and so him now progressing as an artist in his own right was also inevitable. This journey has also been supercharged by way of Cristian and fellow Outcaster Salvatore Ficara’s new imprint Radici Rec.

It was also a no brainer to invite Cristian to deliver his audio vision and like the sprawling parties and after hours that Cristian excels at his mix offers a crash course in the full spectrum of his capabilities. From the eerily soundscape that sets the tone for the next hour, Cristian soon begins shifting through the gears and drops a steady slew of hard to find wax only gems that are soon to send Discogs into meltdown if they are ever ID’d. Expect to be seeing Cristian and his crew a lot more and we are expecting big things indeed.

It’s after sharing the decks for many years and refining their shared taste in music that Josh Rawl and Massaï decided to form their own collective and record label: Sentaku. The journey started with an encounter that promptly reached an equilibrium: the story of two friends representing Ying and Yang, advocating two opposing forces able to reach a sense of balance when united. Meaning “selection” in Japanese, Sentaku was born in 2016 and has since aimed to develop its own personal imprint on the electronic music world through its distinctive aesthetic. More than a musical journey, the label also promotes a visual platform to be lived as an experience, with the help of graphic designer and animator JXQ.  

By building this collective, the founding duo wants to showcase the skills and productions of the new talents they encounter along their musical journey. Above all, Sentaku is a family, a creative community striving for diversity, quality and innovation.
