Our hermano Chris Gorrie on duty on the next instalment. 
We met a few years back in Madrid and instantly felt like we were family. Since then we have our annual gatherings fulfilled with sweet beats, memories and shenanigans!

Born in Bruxelles, the Scottish-Italian selector is now based in Madrid. Due to his diverse background, he absorbed influences from different cultures that have shaped, and continue to refine, his sound-palette.

He is the founder and resident of Quinoa, an immersive event concept that merges music, visual arts and interactive instalations now active in Madrid and Barcelona.

Number 12 in our Mustard Mix Series is here thanks to London based brothers, and good friends of MHR, Will and Max, aka ‘Duowe’.

These boys are the force behind the ever growing label and party, @fraiserecords which they kicked off in 2019, and have since put out a number of records on the label, with the likes of Urulu, Baby Rollen and most notably the link up with their good mate, Picasso.

As well as a label, they also run their own nights and radio show, ‘Eclectic Blends’ on Voices Radio, which provides a slower soundtrack every 2nd Friday of the month!  

More recently the lads have landed themselves on none other than the man himself, Gene on Earth’s imprint, ‘Limousine Dream’ with a tried and tested EP with Picasso. 

With a handful of new music set to be released for the rest of this year, we can’t wait to hear what else is in store for these fellas. Anyway enough waff - we’ll let the music do the talking!

After nagging her for a mix early on this year, we're so very stoked to finally be able to share this kick-ass vinyl only recording on our series with you all. Here, KT effortlessly mixes through bubbling 90's house, acid, breaks, trance and electro, reflecting a snapshot of her collection, typically heard during the early hours of her sets in da club. 

Mind bending, deep and dreamy psychedlia infused sounds found within. Hold yer breath and prepare to dive deep into the abyss, this mix doesn't hold back one bit...

Pour ce 55ème podcast, on reçoit un duo de choc à l’initiative de nombreux projets dans notre 69 et dans leur 38/74 d’origine : IZ/YO aka Vouiz et Noyo. 

Mais IZ/YO qu’est ce que c’est ? C’est avant tout la fusion de 2 super saiyans inséparables comme la sauce et les frites : Vouiz, co-fondateur de l’excellent label H3 Records qui mélange rap et musiques électroniques autour de styles hybrides qui font un bien fou au paysage actuel ; et le couteau suisse Noyo, graphiste, dj, producteur et co-fondateur de Records Or Not Records avec le poto Baume (à qui on passe un gros big-up). Label sur lequel nos 2 oiseaux de nuit ont également une deuxième track qui ne devrait pas tarder à sortir. 

Regroupés depuis peu sous la l'étendard de Barda, ces deux férus de musique et de camaraderie ne cessent d’évoluer dans un spectre assez large de sonorités électroniques entre downtempo, house ou encore electro. Un duo aux sélections tout terrain et infaillibles pour rentrer en communication avec le dancefloor. 

Aujourd’hui, ces deux hyperactifs nous délectent d’un set extendooo d’1h40 aux couleurs de leurs influences. Un mix éclectique entre progressive house, electro bien tripy et minimal teintée de vibes plus solaires. Bref vous l’aurez compris, une suggestion adéquate pour ramener un peu de chaleur avant le retour des beaux jours. Bon appétit l’équipe 🌯

We are happy to introduce you to Mr Duvi, a fresh face (with a cute smile) in the Parisian circuit that we know now for more than 3 years. He is a founding member of the Paris-Bruxelles mob gang Azi Chuicho /slang term for "I am highly motivated to lay it down bro". Those who attented their events might remember the good vibes and private joke-themed flyers.
For the record, this podcast was meant to be a Basic Movement podcast - Gira's prior dj crew - but then Covid stroke and Gira joined us, so we're finally happy to host this one after a long wait - it was worth it.
Silky deep chunks assembled with a laid back attitude and still this cute smile that you can hear all the way through: this is today's menu and it is higly recommended by the whole staff.

@botch-546294028 was first influenced by landmark french electronic groups of the 2000s such as Justice and Daft Punk. His electronic music education took place later on in the East quarters of London where he now lives. He has nurtured a true love for the underground house and techno spending his weekends between the dance floors of Fold, Fabric and 9294, or on boat raves along the Hackney waters. Collectives such as Phonoteque or Cartulis - just to name a few - were a turning point for him, and naturally turned him into a wax passionate and an avid collector. This mix is the fruit of this journey and what he hopes to be a first step of a longer, complex and unexpected path.

We met around 2 years ago and instantly clicked, we even had the chance to book him for one of our Choice venture. 
His origins come from a tireless quest that delves deep into the expansive sphere of electronic music, searching without constraints or genre restrictions for the perfect soundscape for every context and situation. 
A vinyl enthusiast and aficionado, Sick Seek effortlessly transitions between the darkest, most psychedelic beats of techno and the most romantic, sentimental expressions of house and disco music.

This recording is an ode to Raul, his forever four-legged traveling companion who tragically passed away last week <3

We met Dizzy over the summer in the mighty festival of Litoranea Festival in Sicily. We started talking and exchanged on non-dancefloor music and great album that inspired us and we clicked instantly. 
She is a Milan-based artist and food engineer from Florence on the roster of the new Tenax generation. She approached ambient & downtempo music in 2018 by creating meticulous playlists and musical selections for herself to listen while painting. When talking about her music, she refers to herself more like a selector than a DJ, with hybrid sonorities difficult to categorize into a single genre or style, but characterized by influences ranging from trip-hop, dub, to synth-wave and electro. The sets are often identified by an unstoppable crescendo, plenty to explore in the winsome, melodic, laidback feeling of her selections.

JL has been active on the Parisian scene for over a decade whether with his very first collective Micro_Wave in 2012, with Reshuffle Music, and more recently with his label Momo's Basement. Over the years, he has had the opportunity to share his music from Paris to London, Switzerland, Brazil and many other places

We can't really recall the moment we exactly met but we can recall the good memories shared during parties and today it's this mesmerizing vibe that we are feeling through this recording.

Known as a serious digger and a sincere collector, Chae exhibits her selection of records that span the 90s and modern times. 

As her sound embraces various genres and styles, it is loved by many fans for the rich flavors - and those mixed delicately, a luscious set gets delivered with a slight pungency. 

Going versatile, Chae works - or plays - as a resident DJ and as a hosting member of the promising party crew Antidote.

It’s after sharing the decks for many years and refining their shared taste in music that Josh Rawl and Massaï decided to form their own collective and record label: Sentaku. The journey started with an encounter that promptly reached an equilibrium: the story of two friends representing Ying and Yang, advocating two opposing forces able to reach a sense of balance when united. Meaning “selection” in Japanese, Sentaku was born in 2016 and has since aimed to develop its own personal imprint on the electronic music world through its distinctive aesthetic. More than a musical journey, the label also promotes a visual platform to be lived as an experience, with the help of graphic designer and animator JXQ.  

By building this collective, the founding duo wants to showcase the skills and productions of the new talents they encounter along their musical journey. Above all, Sentaku is a family, a creative community striving for diversity, quality and innovation.
