Jon Linskey has made a name for himself in the USA DIY scene for his projects Sectra, Ashen Gaze, and his band Cronos Compulsion. A classically trained percussionist, he has been working with music for most of his life, and engineering and producing tracks since 2009, releasing on labels such as Tectonic Recordings and DNO, and working in the film industry writing and scoring short films. This mix showcases multiple tracks composed by him either for unfinished films or forthcoming tapes, using a looper and guitar pedals he conducts a cacophonic orchestra of ambient dread.

Bringing forth the headstrong Jon Linskey, also renowned under an array of pseudonyms including Sectra, Ashen Gaze and Ponticrator. Linskey proves his mettle in a volley of white-hot off the press alloys encompassing dreaded drift, ragga-inspired bludgeonry, ferric grit intensity, and unapologetic sub pressure. To wrap things up, Luke Lund lets loose &ampquot;&ampquot;Entropy and Flux&ampquot;&ampquot;, rapid-firing distilled temporal forms of sound as it lives and breathes in search of equilibrium. 
With an expansive career spanning since 2009, and creating art even longer, Linskey bears an impressive back catalogue gracing the esteemed labels like Tectonic, DNO and Industrial Coast. He&amp#39;s made a name for himself in the realm of equally important visual design and layout for both himself and working as the main art director behind releases and merch from Trisicloplox and Cronos Compulsion to name a couple. Recent endeavors include mixing and mastering services. Flagbearer for the sullen and doomed, Linskey offers stone cold sidespins on dub from the paranoiac dronesphere, charged blasts of wrought iron drumming, and gargantuan chest rattlers for the foolhardy. But most importantly an escape from the constraints of conformism and an open-hearted invitation to all who chase that unbridled release.

I really can’t express how wild the response to this has felt. This was easily one of the biggest shows of my career and one that I’ll carry with me for a long time. This was also my first time making some of the visuals and showcasing them - all thanks to my good friend Scotty for VJing and sharing his art as well. I’ve always just tried to share the music and art that I love, so seeing people connect with it was so special even for that reason alone!!

Turned out to be one of my favorite sets I’ve ever played and I’m so grateful to @zedsdead for the opportunity, everyone who pulled up early and shared their energy or sent kind messages afterwards. I appreciate it all more than you'll ever know.
