احمد پژمان (۱۸ تیر ۱۳۱۴، لار ) آهنگساز ایرانی است._  
در دوران دبیرستان به فراگیری ویولن نزد حشمت سنجری پرداخت و تئوری موسیقی را نزد حسین ناصحی فراگرفت. پس از چندی به عنوان نوارنده‌ی ویولن به ارکستر سمفونیک تهران راه یافت و در دوره‌ی رهبری سنجری و هایمو تویبر در ارکستر حضور داشت. در سال ۴۳ بعد از اتمام تحصیلات دانشگاهی در رشته‌ی زبان و ادبیات انگلیسی در دانشسرای عالی، با اخذ بورسیه راهی اتریش شد و در آکادمی موسیقی وین نزد اساتیدی چون: توماس کریستین داوید، آلفرد اوهل، هانس یلینک به تحصیل آهنگسازی پرداخت. بعد از پایان تحصیلات به ایران بازگشت و به عنوان آهنگساز تالار رودکی و استاد موسیقی دانشگاه تهران به کار مشغول شد. از آثار او در این دوره می‌توان به: "اپرای جشن دهقان"، "اپرای دلاور سهند" و "اپرای سمندر" اشاره کرد که قبل از انقلاب در تالار وحدت اجرا شدند. در سال ۱۳۵۴ برای ادامه تحصیلات در مقطع دکترای آهنگسازی راهی دانشگاه کلمبیا (نیویورک) شد. از استادان او در این دوره میتوان به ولادیمیر اوساچوسکی، جک بیزن، بولانت آرل اشاره کرد.

پژمان از سال ۱۳۷۰ تا کنون به طور پراکنده به تدریس هارمونی، کنترپوآن و آهنگسازی در دانشکده موسیقی دانشگاه هنر سرگرم است.[۱]

Sometimes, it seems, I am surrounded by melancholy. A stream of uphill battles, illness, pain, and suffering. At times I feel lost, depressed, and without answers.

Does anyone see where I am?

Such a strange mix of emotions, when the world fades to become a universe of loss, with brief blips of joy.

Inside my head, I move quietly through a vast wilderness of sound. My depression takes it's form in the shape of music. I know I will not feel this way forever, but for now, I let the music have it's way.

If you could hear how I feel when the world around me seems to be too much, this is the music you would hear...

يك روز صبح پس از تولد دخترم بيدار شدم و يك ملودي ساده به ذهنم آمد كه باقي نوشته هايم شباهتي نداشت 
تصميم گرفتم تا آن را توسعه و به مجموعه اي تبديل كنم كه بيشتر زاييده ناخودآگاهم بود تا آهنگسازي به شيوه معمول . 
نتيجه ان اين ست كه بيانگر لذت ساده نهفته در زندگي ، زيبايي و اميد است 


One Morning. Soon after my daughter was born, i woke up with a simple melody in mind unlike any style i had written before .
I decided to develop the idea into a collection of simple melodies for an album that was merely a creation of my subconscious and not composed for a particular projector a specific genre of music. 
The result of is this whic embraces the simple pleasure of life. Beauty and optimism .

ريتم، رنگ آميزي و قالب در موسيقي مشرق زمين عمومآ نقطه شروع و آخرين متفاوتي دارد و پيمودن اين فاصله در آن خود بيانگر نوعي سير در ريتم و مضمون است. از گوشه اي به گوشه اي ديگر، از مقامي به مقامي ديگر، از حضيض تا اوج و از اوج به حضيض. مبناي اين اثر نيز سفري است به ميان رنگ آميزي هاي مختلف و هارموني هاي شرقي و غربي. همراهي تبلا و حضور سازهاي غربي همچون گيتار، سازهاي زهي و جلوه هاي صوتي در کنار سه تار، مكالمه اي را برقرار مي كند كه در آن سه زبان موسيقيايي متفاوت ايراني، هندي و اروپايي مفهومي مشترك را بيان مي کند.
