Nails of The Weak

Seph Fisher is an experimental artist from Regina, Saskatchewan, blending lo-fi grit, ambient textures, and emotionally charged songwriting. 

From 2020 to 2024, he released music under the alias Sephvsh, a raw, genre-blurring project shaped by isolation, teenage chaos, and emotional vulnerability. His sound during this era fused emo hip hop, grunge rap, and lo-fi aesthetics, drawing from internet subcultures and DIY sensibilities. 

The songs felt like journal entries, unfiltered and intimate, and he frequently collaborated with underground artists like Lil Woozy, 50 Nic, and Hookadart. 

Each track featured personally edited artwork and was uploaded directly to SoundCloud, forming a vivid archive of that turbulent creative chapter. 

In 2025, Fisher reintroduced himself with a cleaner, more introspective sound under his full name. His debut single “127” signaled a shift from noise to nuance, from angst to reflection. Even as his style evolved, the emotional core of his music remains, honest, layered, and rooted in transformation. 

Beyond music, he’s the creator of Project Gauntlet XOXO, a surreal, mythic series inspired by real friendships, and a lifelong martial artist returning to Chitō-ryū karate after a seven-year break. Merging sound, identity, and storytelling, Seph Fisher invites listeners into a world where every track is part of a bigger journey.

Sephvsh was an experimental musician from 2020-2024 who built a presence primarily on SoundCloud and YouTube, gaining recognition for their dark, punk-pop-tinged sound and unconventional approach to artistry. Their work often carried an underground, DIY energy, using distorted visuals, cryptic titles, and fragmented storytelling to create a distinct digital persona. Through collaborations, solo releases, and self-branded projects, Sephvsh cultivated a niche audience drawn to their rebellious aesthetic and emotionally charged style.

Their final release, “THE END OF SEPHVSH” (2024), marked the conclusion of the project. Structured as a five-part sequence, it reflected on the different musical styles Sephvsh had explored over the years, serving as both a culmination and a farewell. In their own words, the artist described it as the finale of the Sephvsh era, expressing gratitude for the creative journey and signing off with a heartfelt “Ciao, <3.” This project solidified their legacy as an internet-based creator unafraid to treat music as both experimentation and personal storytelling.

Sephvsh moved onto numerous other projects, before returning to music and releasing once more in 2025 under the name Seph Fisher.
