p'tinuh

 I am Mentor Adrius.

 I have been composing ambient/drone/avant-garde music since 2000. This is my electronic soundscape project "p'tinuh". 

 Some tracks are accompaniments for my illustrations / drawings/ paintings. Some compositions are exclusively arranged for ceremony and large chamber settings. 

  Please, do not use without permission to do so, I do enjoy collaborating with Artists/musicians when the conditions are respectful and credit is given mutually.

Combining the acoustic with the electronic, processes with aleatory, dub techniques with minimalist compositional concepts, loud with quiet, close with far away, in-the-box with binaural recording and pattern with accident.

Gregory 'G' D'Elia is a radio programmer and studio mixer.  Currently at KBCS 91.3FM out of Bellevue College in Washington state.

Listen daily Monday through Friday 5-7pm for an Evening Mix of Roots Rock + Soul, extending the sound possibilities with the KBCS Music Library.

In addition to being a clarinetist and producer I’m also a PhD researcher studying how SoundCloud shapes the ways electronic musicians learn how to produce. Using a range of methods, my work investigates the social and musical practices of musicians online and offline to understand the connections between social media and how electronic producers, and in particular beat makers, learn how to express themselves musically as both individuals and as part of a wide scene.
