this is truly a work of great beauty! i love the wonky freeform feel applied to the quasi berlin techno vibe, but the way all your field stuff drifts over it all is a real inspiration.. halfway through and i've forgotten the constraints of time and formula.. a stunner, i may seek guidance in future!

In addition to being a clarinetist and producer I’m also a PhD researcher studying how SoundCloud shapes the ways electronic musicians learn how to produce. Using a range of methods, my work investigates the social and musical practices of musicians online and offline to understand the connections between social media and how electronic producers, and in particular beat makers, learn how to express themselves musically as both individuals and as part of a wide scene.
