‘Through a vespertine and mysterious realm we walk, mesmerized by naturous vibrance and morphing sonic fabrics.’ Coming from a rising Buenos Aires-based producer Maxi Signiorini aka Collatio, the six-pack ‘Álfar’ album is an arresting collection of the intimately magnetic and contrasting breaking tracks releasing on a fellow Argentinian label Aula Magna. 

Like in a dreamy cosmic saga, Bryophyta opens on an exquisite space harmony centering itself in profound warmness. Dazed on a surrounded beauty, inherently unresting chasm coming out from the background. Mingling synthesizers somehow synchronize with ragged rhythm while balancing a fine line with mellow earthy reminiscences. Gradually twisting everything into a neurotic cacophony, the bursting beats pour potent energy into a masterfully recreated internal dissonance.

PREMIERE: Collatio - Bryophyta [Aula Magna]

Propulsive techno solicitations are abounding on Ideoma, the debut EP from Oscean, a collaboration from Sebastián Galante, also known as Seph, and Andrés Zacco. The two are figureheads of Argentina's techno sound, with releases on labels such as Insurgentes, Echocord Colour and Illian Tape over the last decade.

Galante and Zacco join forces for the first time with inspiring effects, moving forward with vast paces, unshifting footsteps, with uneven prisms of electronic rhythm. Its direct intent and crisp sonic detail conjure a cinematic and nocturnal drive, unearthing subterranean pulses that leave all in its wake.

With Ideoma, Tresor Records presents a whirlwind of dense movement and cosmic energy that twists on percussive bends and distorting spirits. Spiral recalls natural phenomena, bound tight, with a rugged texture like no other, as flickers of sound processing suggest lift-off. The flanging Feral exudes a potent demeanour, wicked and unceasing. The ebbing melodics of Spacion hark back to 90s ambient techno and yet possessing a rhythmic cut and thrust that navigates unchartered terrain. Transmuting beyond planet earth, further into the extra-terrestrial, Galante and Zacco mask fractal brushstrokes with hurrying rhythms. They smear primitive and sharp sonics, pressed with dizzying resilience. The nosediving FM synths of Austraal beckon a haunting trip, cloaked in a trance of motion and forever eschewing all prediction.

The fourth album is exactly the description of this "Feuerfalter", a kind of backflash into the impressive career of Boris Brejcha. An album that deliberately shows how the artist works versatile. Times slightly floating, sometimes wild hitting the wing, always full of passion. The influences of his travelings and performances characterize his art again.

This creates a music that may be accompanied on Brejchas audience the whole day: at home, in a relaxed atmosphere or just at night, when the trip through the clubs starts. On the album "Feuerfalter" this individuality is turned on. Brejcha even picks up the desire of his ans to weave a few quieter tracks into his cosmos.

Andrés Zacco is my guest in episode 43 of Portal the Podcast in the second hour. The argentinian DJ and producer who released on labels like Ilian Tape and Cabrera put together an amazing mix for Portal. Andrés also has launched a new project together with Seph called Oscean this year and they are just about to release their second EP on Tresor Records on 17th of October, which is a must have in opinion.

This time we have a session by Parisian artist BLNDR (Hypnus Records) with a sophisticated and meticulous selection, immersing us in an hour of deep and tribal techno, which is his specialty. Tom is a close friend of the label who made an incredible remix of MB4, one of the tracks that are part of Seph's album entitled Ulizen.

@danza-nativa is happy to welcome Sebastian Galante (A.K.A. Seph), one of the most sophisticated producers of our scene, into their label During his fifteen years of experience with electronic music, he has won the recognition of key artists and labels from all around the world: Echocord, Insurgentes and his own imprint Aula Magna have been housing his latest musical outputs. Now, Danza Nativa are glad to bring you his newest -and deepest- techno works for what is their seventh release.

His sound design and mixing skills are some of the features that have gained him recognition, and "Ulizen" EP is a perfect example of these. It consists of three tracks that unfurl into beautiful synth pads, warm textures and strident percussions, some of his very own characteristics. 

To round it all up, the french artist BLNDR re-imagines Seph's sounds on a fine and elegant remix that completes the release.

Hailing from Buenos Aires, Sebastian Galante a.k.a. Seph is one of Argentina’s main electronic music artists. With nearly 10 years of activity in the techno scene, he has established himself as a multi-faceted artist, dividing his time between roles such as an energetic, prolific producer, heavily requested remixer, Aula Magna Records label manager, and a live act which has driven him to perform all across the globe. A sound experimentalist at heart, he devotes himself into expanding the sonic experience on the dance-floor and in the mind.
