Treating Simon Firth's "Stress Test" is Nakul Ambilkar, aka SEQU3L, from Pune (India). A relative new-comer into the scene with his first release in 2013, SEQU3L has been on the must-watch list gaining immense support from Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, Jerome Isma-Ae & the likes for his productions. For this particular remix, he toned it down from his usual uplifting tempo into a groovier but equally powerful rendition, filled with tight percussive grooves, synth-laded riffs & a great tribute to the original's breakdown.

At Manual Music we traditionally end the year with our annual Manualism compilation showcasing a blend of Manual Music resident artists alongside (as they would say in the biker world) prospects and hang arounds. For this brand new edition we're happy to show you ten brand new exclusive tracks which comprehend the sound the label currently stands for.

Manual founder Paul Hazendonk is on board, as well as early day resident artist Qbical of course, but also newer label names Leandro Silva, Joe Miller and Christopher Ivor make their appearance. Juliane Wolf has appeared on our Cinematique and MNL labels before and now makes here Manual Music debut, same goes for Amanic who's been a regular on our MNL label, whilst East Cafe returns on the label after his remix earlier this year for Sounom. Release Info: 
In February 2018, ARTBAT are bringing their first full EP release to Diynamic Music. The three-tracker “Planeta” starts off with the title track “Planeta”, a rapid-fire techno odyssey that might as well be taken from a relentless pursuit in a futuristic action movie.

This is followed by the gloomy bassline of “Prometheus”. Heavy on percussive elements, the track is divided in half by a cascading synth-break only to return with more layers of percussions, strings and the hypnotic bassline.

Closing off the EP is “Sand In Your Shoes” featuring London based artist Dino Lenny, who has previously worked with Madonna or Wu-Tang Clan and produced remixes for Underworld, Missy Elliot or Timbaland. The collab track is a dreamy Deep-House tune and a perfectly emotive way to finish the record.

International Deejay Gigolo Records are releasing the second set of remixes of DJ Hell produced techno cut “Guede”, taken from his 5th studio album “Zukunftsmusik”. This release features remixes by ARTBAT and Black Peters. “Guedes’” soundscape is acidic, yet minimal, with its distorted vocals and raucous instrumentation lending the track an eerie and at times ethereal vibe. Each artist breathes new life into the original cut, steering it in their own direction, whilst never completely abandoning the track’s core identity. ARTBAT’s remix is a decidedly more pumped up and energetic, dance floor ready reimagination of the track and Black Peters keeps the acid and delves into a thick and gripping atmosphere.

Opening the EP is title track Upperground, an ethereal upbeat House tune which has been an essential component of the sets of Solomun in the past weeks. Atlas showcases their ability to step over to the dark side with a fist-pumping melodic Techno thumper.Closing off the record is Dont Bring Me Down, which was written by Dino Lenny and enhanced by ARTBATs brush into an emotional dancefloor hymn. The pairing of its string arrangements and the touching vocals of Dino Lenny will surely make for memories that last past the night out in which you hear it.

The second original on the package 'A Starfall Night' begins with a tough, punchy groove that's surrounded by some nice electronic hooks and a wispy atmospheric backdrop. The meaty bass line soon drops in and comes with a killer roll. Offset stabs add some big rhythms which intensify along with the pulsating hypnotic lines. The main break strips things down and presents a colossal build which is destined to blow the roof off of a large room. Huge track from SEQU3L.
