@NegativMusic is DJ/producer duo from Warsaw. Mood is their speciality - creating climate with space, melody and the warmth of vocals. They know how to be noticed in reality in which there are loads of similar producers all over the world. Their debut EP on Sequel One brings wide range of emotions and twists of actions. Bombastic House & Bass bangers "Gettin Ready" and recorded with Michel Morales "That's The Way" (diversified with quasi-trap moments) are mixed with more subtle "Lucid" and "Someone Special" which implicates style of well known duo from UK. With time we will see if Negativ take the path of their more popular colleagues, but nowadays "SOMEONE SPECIAL" EP is promising presentation of their skills and potential.

Initially I was going to do a mix centering around footwork that only included those closely associated sounds like jungle, dnb and halftime, but this just didn’t sit right. After some thought I decided to do something a little different, expand the scope, and take in genres not usually associated with footwork, in particular styles like IDM. I wanted to take you on an adventure, to escape the mad times and reality we find ourselves in, starting out with IDM, while taking in acid, jungle, bass, rave, hardcore, dnb, halftime and such along the way, then retuning safely to the point from which we started. The path gets rugged and raw, covering as much ground as we can in 60 odd minutes, through myriad sights and sounds, across 29 tracks, from 140 through 170+BPM. I hope it resonates with you and that you’re doing ok this time. Music is therapy, music is love.
