Nørbak is Artur Moreira, born in the late nineties, in the North of Portugal. His devotion to making music begins early in his life, and since then, keeps working in his studio, day after day, discovering and developing his own sound, diving into Ambient, Experimental, and mainly Techno. 

It all started in 2016 with labels such and Circular Limited and Illegal Alien, where he gave his first steps and since then he has been releasing his music on respected labels such as PoleGroup, Warm Up Recordings, Semantica, Modularz, Affin, Float Records and his sound has developed throughout these years focusing now more on the mental and physical side of Techno, where he finds the most comfort. 

In 2019 he joins the Portuguese independent collective and label Hayes as an active member, wherewith his label colleagues he’s pushing the new wave of contemporary Techno. 

With appearances in some respected clubs like Tresor, Lux Fragil, Gare Porto, and Family Club he also feels supported by some of the most respected artists in the scene like Oscar Mulero, Jonas Kopp, Svreca, Dasha Rush, and more. His future can only be brighter than what it is right now, with so many boundaries to achieve, discover, learn and cross.

@arkajo returns to his self-titled imprint this September for its third release, featuring two originals and remixes from Forest Drive West and Ebende. Gothenburg, Sweden’s Arkajo has been releasing his contemporary twist on house, techno and leftfield electronica for the past five years under this guise as well as Genius Of Time, a collaborative project alongside fellow Swedish artist Dorisburg. Here
he returns to the Arkajo imprint following on from his and Dorisburg’s ‘Void Pyramid’ back in May 2019.

‘Truth’ leads the release and pieces together Arkajo’s signature tribal tinged, off-kilter percussion with heavy doses of shattering subs, modulating synth work and hypnotic vocal chants.

In 2009, Ghostly celebrated its 10 year anniversary as a label, with many shows across the globe. This year, the label is commemorating a decade of performances at Decibel Festival. The 10th Ghostly showcase at Decibel will feature live performances from Dauwd, Beacon, Lusine and Shigeto (Friday, September 27th at the Crocodile) and you know that I’ll be there all night!

Producer, DJ and all-round Bristolian legend Peverelist takes us deep into the thicket of his Livity Sound label on this Bleep mix. Across just over an hour here Peverelist spins tracks released either via Livity or its sub-label Ytivil Dnuos. This homogenous approach means that the mix as a whole is suffused with the atmospheric, slightly fourth-world sensibility that characterises the Livity brand, yet still remains danceable from start to finish. Forest Drive West, Bakongo, Kouslin and DJ Plead are among those who have their percussive leftfield techno productions blended together by Peverelist’s hand here.
