When my dad was in high school, they had a cat named Tommy.  When dad would come home from school, he'd head upstairs and say, "Let's go listen to some tunes, Tommy."  The cat would follow him upstairs and perch upon a big speaker. Tommy boldy declared: "Cats like bass!" and house music was born.
