Cold Hard Ground

After visiting countless other planets, the voyager decides to try to have a little fun in this bleak situation he's in. After activating a sort of auto-pilot on the ship, he goes inside the only airlock, grabbing one of the available tethers and hooking himself up. Opening the outside of the airlock, the voyager steps out of his ship, spreads his arms, and jumps... 

He's never felt this feeling before. This overwhelming sense of smallness and insignificance. As he drifts next to his ship, his breath is taken by the sheer grandness of the universe around him. When it comes to something as mysterious and complex and simple as the universe, nothing makes sense. Yet, everything makes sense. 

There is no beginning. There is no end. There is only now, forever.
