After the success of our first VA we are pleased to announce a second instalment of Introspective on sequence music. This time ISKO has been handed the reins to curate 15 tracks that encapsulate his diverse sound. 

Hungarian producer ISKO has risen through the ranks of the melodic scene in the last few years. For Introspective Volume 2 he has brought together an array of global talent to realise his vision. 

From tough kicks and dark melancholic synths through to emotional progressive beats - the full melodic spectrum is represented by some of the most forward thinking artists in the scene.

Romero (Original) Inspired by a combination of deep house and techno foundations. A steady beat complemented with hi-hats' shakers and toms draw the line of the track. The progressive evolution of synths drives your senses to the middle of the track to shake your emotions with the brake of the bridge.

Romero (andLEZ Interpretation) andLEZ unique style defies the standard rule of remixing, going with his own interpretation of Romero. The track's canvas is painted by a tasteful progression of synths going back and forth, evolving all the way down to the track's bridge. A smooth transition into the second half of the track sinks your senses even more. A delightful interpretation waiting to be played and enjoyed.'

Opening up the month of September in style, Astral Records presents the first installment of their Celestial' series. These VA collections will stretch across the globe searching out the finest untapped talent along with industry veterans. With a concise approach the label explores a full spectrum of melodic house and techno, with an emphasis on the astral qualities that has made the genre appealing to many. Wrapped up in this five-track journey is a veritable smorgasbord of beats and melodies that are sure to delight the senses. Featured on the first installment are (in order of appearance) Asonanete, Ta'kaam, Leghet, Bruno Longhitano and Jickow.

Hailing from Spain and providing the first selection is Asonante. His dark atmospheric sound has found a home on Infinite Depth and WOOD, the latter of which has been his primary home since making his debut in 2018. Now adding Astral Records to his portfolio, Asonante makes his first appearance on Greek imprint with Volcano'. Punchy beats and machine gun rhythms sit at the heart of the piece, as devilish electronics slowly encase the framework. Continuing to build following the first of two breaks, hypnotic arps gently rise amidst ominous overlays, before the second break pushes tension skywards as the beats drop following a billowing stab.
