This is my second album that contains nature recordings from the Alam-Pedja nature reserve from Estonia. When the first album presented with ​​how Alam-Pedja sounds through the year and in different habitats then the concept of this album is one day and in one selected location in Alam-Pedja. All recordings are made in the yard of an abandoned farmhouse located in a deep forest. I'll listen one day through audio recordings I made in May 2020 and 2021

Some information about the old farmhouse. The farmhouse was built for forest workers in 1938 during the time of the first Estonian republic. Up to 15 people lived there at the same time in 1956 and in 2004 the last resident of this farm died. Since then, the farm is empty.

I really wanted to keep this track simple because for the previous couple that I've made I was focused on adding techniques and getting better. I challenged myself to just make something pretty and minimalistic. I think I accomplished that goal, this is probably my 3rd favorite. For most of the songs I used modified versions of beepbox that add features, instruments, mods, better volume control, and panning. For this song I went back to the original version I started on really honed in on what's important, that it sounds good.

Marco Lucchi & Mean Flow - bedroom music n°2

This track comes from the opening 10 minutes of our first 2021 Lockdown Collaboration improvisation, recorded on the 2nd January. Unusually for us, it features Si's guitar playing, albeit heavily treated, looped and triggered by Gillie! 

It also features some wonderful soundscapes kindly provided by  @anmoku and some ethereal vocals from our dear friend and previous collaborator, Heidi Hart.
