Palimpsest is a piece of writing material on which the original writing has been effaced to make room for later writing but of which traces remain.  Music is a palimpsest of musicians being influenced and remixed by the previous generation. It's a constant evolutionary arms to delight the mind and heart, and to engage the soul to dance.  It's one of the longest connecting dots we have to each other.  Thank you to everyone who supported me in raising funds for a replacement mixer, this mix is dedicated to you.
