Patrick Kendell-Smith is a UK-based composer and orchestrator who specialises in writing music for film and television.
Having completed his BA degree at Royal Holloway University of London, he earned his MA in Composition of Music for Film and Television at Bristol University.
Patrick is, from the age of 7, primarily a pianist but has, over the years, developed into a multi-instrumentalist of electronic and acoustic instruments. His experience playing cello in a symphony orchestra, in tandem with orchestration studies, have led him to have a thorough understanding of composing for the wider orchestra proficiently. His style and approach is multi-faceted and varied but tends to be piano-based with orchestral and electronic elements, as well as having developed a unique style of harmonic language that has led to him have varied film credits of high reception. Kendell-Smith is also a featured composer and beta-tester for the BAFTA-nominated virtual instrument and audio developer Soundiron LLC.

He has studied under a variety of high profile names such as Mark Bowden, Helen Grime, Brian Lock, Martin Kiszko, John Pickard, William Goodchild and Richard Blackford.
