We are very happy to finally welcome Mr. Pablo on our label. His powerful sound is sure to draw you to the dance floor. But this pulling motion is never monotonous. Instead, his music presents a refreshing contrast to the slow tech downtempo that is in vogue these days, through interesting melodies and slightly melancholic moods. This mixture of varied atmospheres on the one hand and hard-hitting beats and basslines on the other makes his sound so interesting for us. He has already released an EP on Serafin and a single on this years Afterhour Sounds compilation, which definitely make you want more. 

We are also very happy to present you Planet Caravan and thea as remixers. Their sound perfectly manages the balancing act between these two supposedly contrary poles: power and emotion. Listen to these three talented artists, they will tell you the tales of tomorrow.

Planet Caravan - Waldkauz [Bunte Kuh]

In early April, we have an exciting release coming up that we're eagerly anticipating. Our friends @zhart & @seyde-music are dropping their debut EP titled "Dampflok."

After the two original tracks have been making rounds in various sets over the past months, the record is enriched with diverse remixes by @thea-schtu, @planetcaravanofficial , and @kerosino, along with a reinterpretation by @seyde-music himself.

The artwork was as always provided by Kilian Van de Water and we thank Haunted Water for the mastering. We're thrilled with the outcome and hope you enjoy listening to it.

Off the back of a whirlwind 2015 including the launch of their new label ‘Hommage’, Monkey Safari gear up to take the dance scene by storm with the release of their new EP ‘On’. The self-entitled release showcases the German act’s mixture of hip-hop and new wave influences embedded in 9-10 minute climactic and euphoric footprints that have so often epitomized the acts sound throughout their short career. Remixes by legendary techno producer ‘Paco Osuna’ and ‘Chloé’ have done no harm in aiding the producers growing stature on the global stage whilst helping their break into new scenes and demographics not yet familiar with their uplifting and melodic sound.

The EP containing two original tracks ‘On’ and ‘Matters’ utters influences taken from the act at a young and formative age. Sven and Lars unique connection was established as teens in their hometown of ‘Halle’ where the duo’s paradox of tastes complimented one another’s and has come to define the nature of their productions. Agreeing to start a youth fueled club night that exhibited the duo’s love for indie/alternative and electronica in two separate rooms, the venture became the catalyst for the pair’s amalgamation in song-writing and thus, Monkey Safari was born. A track that mirrors these tastes exceptionally is the single ‘On’, a perfect blend of steady paced house with alternate influenced vocals creating a brooding and haunting piece of music. The duos cleverly crafted layering of the track gives the vocals enough room to breathe whilst keeping the dance-fueled tempo with airy and spacious percussion. The second track ‘Matters’ focuses more on techno and trance-like elements with delayed and static analogue sounds coating the duo’s stereotypical atmospheric and surging psalm. The track is much more in-tune with the acts dance influences with no inclusion of any vocals, dedicating all attention to the core ingredients of percussion, bass and keys.

The duo’s rapid growth in recognition is best shown through Paco Osuna’s monstrous remix of ‘On’ with a typical elongated build, euphoric drop and crunching percussion that will be certain to be a stand out track on dance floors around the globe. Underground French artist Chloé’s remix of ‘Matters’ is reminiscent of the duo’s new wave motives with a perfect collage of echoed guitar samples and a grooved bass lick epitomizing the French house sound. Both remixes are equally as talented and enjoyable as the originals and will no doubt help flourish the acts credibility and respect going in to 2016.

Max Lanzinger - The person behind TRANSIENT LINES - decided to donate the profits of his ASETELMA LP to „Flüchtlingsprojekt Ute Bock“. The Austrian organisation is engaged in refugee aid. They supply accommodations, run an educational centre and have several projects like social counselling or a post- and registration service. The next chapter of our saga is written and produced by Holed Coin & Alvaro Suarez. 
On their EP “Alma”, which means “soul” in Spanish, one can clearly see their ability to produce music that creates images in the head and takes us to distant places. The first track is reminiscent of a sunset at the end of a warm summer, while the melody of the second track takes us on a deep journey into the night. 

Beautiful refinements are included by Lui Mafuta, Hajna, m@kossa and Feinheitsbrei.  As always we want to thank all artists involved, our mastering engineer Haunted Water and Kilian Van de Water for the artwork magic.
