I was given the opportunity to play alongside Cri and Ben Bohmer at my favorite venue in Seattle, the Showbox Market. It's been a bucket list venue to play ever since I decided to pursue this lofty music dream.  I was extremely nervous.  The crowd was the biggest I've ever played for, and I wasn't sure if they'd vibe to downtempo, but by the end of the set they called out for an encore song which has never happened to me before. You can imagine I was all smiles after this one  :) Enjoy.

Oslo is the goal to sail for and https://soundcloud.com/lente is the »grapest guy on earth« to visit for - AYE :) .... the story is short and full of love - at the Meeresrausch Festival 2015 we had our first date and since that time a lot of GIN-drunken & GrapeFjordFest & humorous moments are followed each other. and from northman to northman let me say this: it feels like a well awaited friendship, which was born and rised up quickly. and in that it leads us faster as a grape can roll to his mix for the Seasidetrip. a mix, crispy and full of love & peace as always <3 when he is behind the decks. since I've heard Lente the first time, I fell in love with his warm and powerful music combined with his peaceful and calming aura. so I am more than happy to call this bearded man & grape lover my friend and to have him onboard. so feel welcome to listen to his version of a seasidetrip and spread some love and grape juice with us - hahahahahaha, aye!

Rolandson, a self-described “child of the Baltic Sea” whose roots lie in Sweden/Uppsala and Rostock, currently lives in a quiet city called Halle an der Saale. The amiable 38-year old’s heart beats for so many beautiful things he has discovered in his travels that he sees himself as a traveller who “transforms his thoughts and feelings into pictures, and transforms those pictures into mixtapes”. His sets often reflect his own unique thoughts and feelings and give the listener a deeper look into who he is and what moves him. To quote a wise man: “It is the work of he whose intention was not to impress, but to be true, that will persist.” (Jean Cocteau)

Rolandson has been playing music for 20 years now and has been enchanting his listeners with unbelievable sets that he often gets lost in himself.
His sound transcends the boundaries of genre or style - a characteristic that applies to him not only musically but also personally: he avoids clichés and instead strives for originality and musical diversity. 

When he’s not behind the decks, he’s the driving force behind his netlabel and podcast series “Seasidetrip”, which he started in 2012 after recording a mix at sea. Since the first Seasidetrip mix, many artists have have interpreted their love and longing for the sea in their own mixes, contributing to the growth of this wonderful project which has not only touched the hearts of its listeners, but also led to many friendships and inspiring collaborations with other artists along the way.

Rolandson invites you to join him in making the world a bit more colourful, a bit more diverse and saturated with unique music.

Here's a set from recorded during the Lunar Exploration night at "Crème Brulée" (a regional burning event in the middle of France). This mix is a selection of random and beloved tracks I wanted to listen and share in this environnement. This place has been our nest for a second time, installed in a small wood, really inspiring.

It's not really fitting the predecessors of the SLOWNOVSKY series, because it's less Re-Edits and Neo Disco oriented, but more Balearesque and Guitarish, but after all, it's  slower than ever, so I guess it fits, when it hits the kids.
