In this first Ep, Siwal transports the listener-dancer into a trippy jungle where misty deep techno reigns. The psychedelic rumblings of a chimerical panther resonate in this bewitching sonic vegetation.
The scenery is hallucinatory, the flora and fauna painted with dubby delays. We cross it with that sexy tension lodged in the pit of our stomachs, caught between the irrepressible desire to dance and the fear of forgetting ourselves, bewitched by its hallucinogenic perfumes.
Through this release, Abstrack expresses its nocturnal side, with the body/mind balance that is so dear to it. It sounds dub, techno, down tempo or faster, intense, in short, the feet are anchored, the bodies soar and the head escapes.

PREMIERE : Siwal - Morning Awakening (Abstrack Records)

DJ, producer, guitarist, sound engineer, and beatmaker, Chris Gavin's rich and eclectic musical career spans several decades and genres.

In the 90's, he gained his first experience as a guitarist in rock bands in the south of France before transitioning to electronic music. Starting in 2000, he collaborated with tribal progressive legend Rick Pier O’Neil, becoming a remixer and label manager at Garbage Records.

In 2015, he worked with pop artist Thierry de Cara (Capitol) on projects as a sound engineer and beatmaker for major players in the music industry, including Universal Music, Sony, and M6. This led to his contribution of eight tracks on the album Love & Soul by Canadian artist Corneille.

In 2018, Chris Gavin founded the club “Danceteria” in Marseille, a project that reflects his deep involvement in the local cultural scene and where he's hosted artists such as Curses, Theus Mago and Thomass Jackson among many others.

In 2024, following several performances in Barcelona, spanish label Side Up Works offered him the opportunity to release an EP (e-nough), which received critical acclaim.
His productions, blending Indie Dance, progressive house, and techno, have captivated an international audience of renowned DJs and producers, including John Digweed, Laurent Garnier or Carl Cox to name a few.

His side project 'Danse Alice', in collaboration with producer Remain, explores dark disco and electro rock sounds and it has been released on esteemed labels such as Lumière Noire Records, Ombra International, New Day Everyday, La Dame Noir, and Throne of Blood.

Argentinian producer SebaSchiume is a boundary-pushing alchemist of sound, merging streetwise pulse with electronic innovation and ritualistic percussion. His work defies eras, splicing primal echoes with forward-thinking production – a signature honed through years of collaborative daring and immersive solo quests. “Fragmentos,” his inaugural long-form statement, crystallizes this ethos: an odyssey where clattering urban cadences dissolve into lush, dreamlike expanses. The LP’s architecture thrives on contrast – urgency meets serenity, chaos orbits clarity – stitched together by tactile beats and airborne synths. Field recordings and disembodied whispers blur reality, while rhythms fracture and reform like living organisms. More than a collection, it’s a metamorphic manifesto; a point of arrival for the artist and a compass pointing beyond.

Premiered here, "Disociación" is pure IDM-twisted alchemy – SebaSchiume feeds broken beats through a fractal prism, spitting out rhythms that glitch like corrupted data. Percussion skitters between precision and sabotage, its clicks, cuts, and sub-bass drops forming a puzzle where pieces almost fit. Melodies flicker like static-choked transmissions, their warmth warped by granular synthesis into eerie, half-human sighs. It’s Aphex Twin gnashing teeth with Latin electronica’s raw pulse, but distilled into something colder, sharper. The genius? Even at its most abstract, the groove moves – a paradox of heady calculus and hip-swaying instinct. This isn’t music for the common dance floor, it’s the sound of its deconstruction.

The original “El Rito,” a gripping collaboration between Jorge Galindo (SXDNS450) and Dario, emerged earlier this year via Guatemala’s promising imprint DMNSNL, delivering a brooding, atmospheric journey steeped in hypnotic rhythms and shadowy textures. Now, the track receives fresh transformations from Dan ChiCharron, Mverto Futura, and Marian, each offering distinct perspectives on the source material. While ChiCharron and Futura inject their own dynamic energy into the mix, it’s Marian’s take that truly reimagines the composition, pushing its boundaries into dazzling new dimensions with a fearless, visionary approach.

Premiered here, Marian’s remix elevates El Rito into a mesmerizing, otherworldly voyage, trading the original’s shadowy tones for a radiant, hypnotic energy that feels both expansive and intimate. Layers of swirling synths and pulsating rhythms build with precision, creating an immersive, almost trance-inducing effect, while subtle melodic flourishes add depth and intrigue. The remix maintains a delicate balance between cosmic euphoria and introspective depth, making it ideal for both dance-floor transcendence and headphone meditation. Considered one of the most talented artists of his generation, Fausto (SXDNS064) has long been recognized for his unapologetically bold approach to electronic music, crafting pieces that hit with visceral intensity and raw, instinctual energy. His latest EP, “K-Man,” released via Nativo (the label he co-founded), marks a subtle but compelling evolution in his sound. While staying true to his signature physicality, the producer ventures deeper into experimental territories, blending elements of IDM and psychedelia into his club-ready framework. The three original cuts balance intricate sound design with rhythmic urgency, proving that even while exploring new textures, Fausto never loses his grip on the dance floor’s pulse.

Premiered here, Roliva’s rework of the title track takes Fausto’s original and reshapes it into a blistering, acid-laden weapon. Roliva (SXDNS379) strips down the elements and reassembles them with a fiercer, more primal edge, amplifying the theme’s intensity while preserving its muscular core. Jagged synth lines slice through pounding percussion, creating a relentless groove built for dark, sweat-drenched rooms.
