Impossible

Written a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. A song I wrote after leaving Los Angeles...

These walls will be still be standing when I’ve gone,
I’m far too demanding and it’s wrong.
To always still seek shelter in your storms.
While the north pole is still melting, I’ll be on.

But I don’t want to see no Texas skies,
I don’t need no Nashville sunrise,
If I see them I will close my eyes,
And probably think of you, and what good would that ever do…

What good, would that ever do?
When you need, something you can hold on to.

I’ll always see your forest for its trees,
I won’t chop down your forest to burn my, sensitivity.
The nights of smoggy purple, red like wine.
I’ll leave this city of lost angels, with just a piece of mind.
