Originally released in 2014 and now again on Lukins, the ‘Bedtimes’ project is not only about music, but also highly creative and atmosphereic visual work. ‘It’s a Trick’ speaks of taking power in your own psyche, while providing an enchanting chillout experience to just ‘let go’. Two remixes bring the original to a new level of power. With a deep handling of the synth, CIOZ has created an unmistakable dancefloor killer. The second remix by T.M.A is a swinging groover and completes this EP beautifully.

This EP is a blend of comedy and slice-of-life fiction, focusing on lighthearted, humorous plot lines centered on romantic ideas, such as how true love is able to surmount most obstacles. The remixers are young, likeable, and seemingly meant for each other. After being kept apart by some complicating circumstance (e.g., class differences, parental interference, a previous girlfriend or boyfriend), they have finally surmounted all obstacles and are reunited in this EP and deliver a fairy-tale-style happy ending.
