Mirko's message:
After the success of our track "Parallel Worlds" i was thinking of another piece that would contain some different styles of music. 
The title “Distant Mirrors” should explain the different parts and musical styles in this track. 
There are a few parts and changes in there and it’s not coming back to an earlier played theme. 
After laying down my bassparts I was seaching for musicians who would be able to put that plan into action. 
So what’s better to ask A man called Martin, Julien Apelian and Dan van den Berg again? 
Think they all exceeded my expectations again with some wonderful ideas and arrangements.
Thanks again for this beautiful piece of music!

From Dan van den Berg: "My latest release called "Amargo y Dulce" now has an alternate take with the wonderful addittions by Daniele Petrocchi. A splendid bass player from Italy who has a wonderfully versatile playing style both rhythmically and lyrically AND not shy to show some real flashy lines coming from his technical prowess. And that fits this track so well. Of course I refer to Pace de Lucia here, who introduced the electric bass to his flamenco music and often played duets with Carles Benavent.
Daniele jumped in immediately on my invite to add his parts, that start halfway through the track. To stay with the style he played his beautiful Jerzy Drozd Barcelona bass here. I hope you'll enjoy his addittions as well as I did!"

Sergey Ignatov, born in Russia in 1971, plays music since age 9, learning classical guitar, upright bass and piano. He finished music school in the jazz field. Since age 16, played in many bands and toured for many years. Now he lives in US and makes a living with studio recording projects, and performing with various bands, and plays his own music.
