"Dive into the emotional pool of ""The Waiting Room,"" where a4anxiety takes listeners into an hour of their intimate emotions through emo ambient, trance, and deconstructed breaks. This month, BOFIRAX (he/him, Barcelona) takes over the show and proposes a fluid, elegant, and minimalist electronic sound that immerses us through its synthesizers, voice, and guitar loops.

Following his debut album, Ephemeral, Bofirax has released two EPs (DECADES, 2021, and INVISIBLE, 2024), as well as collaborations with other artists, while his next album is in the making. He has performed at festivals such as BAM, Primavera Sound, and the Pedralbes Festival, and also composed sound pieces for art installations (Sónar+D, CCCB, etc.), soundtracks for short films and commercials (Nike, Desigual, Saye), and theatre.

This ambient mix represents Bofirax’s sound pallette, blending electronic and organic elements. Starting with a jam by myself and my synth using a generative algorithm, you’ll find a curated selection that ranges from synthesized sounds to water percussion or even recordings inside Taj Mahal. Designed to support your creativity and focus. Hope you enjoy it!"

Fond of electronic music since childhood, his interest turned active when he started to get behind the turntables in 2002, playing in small rooms and forging technique and his own unique style. 
This enthusiasm led him to become the manager and promoter of his own club 'Tsunami.club' taking charge of organizing parties and festivals alike. 
In 2013 he moved to Manchester to broaden his fan base on the club circuit and get to grips with production.  
His firmness and perseverance have led him to play in some of the best venues in Barcelona, as well as around Spain and the UK, highlighting sessions in Ibiza. 
At present, he has launched a brand called Above You and he is promoting parties in Barcelona
His sets give off a fresh vibe - melodic, transgressive rhythm loaded with hypnotic enveloping minimalist sounds adding power with a groovy bass. Striking the balance between pleasing the public and playing something new and innovative - he leaves each environment with a special feeling.
