To celebrate this new year Série Limitée is proud to announce a new release on Hors Série sub label. @whitekmusic project was born in 2011 from the collaboration between two Italian producers: Mud.On & Mauro Rizla. This is not about hype or chasing music trends, Whitek has always been about pushing the boundaries of electronic music through an endless search and deep dive exploration any kind of sounds. A groovy blend, offering various styles and traveling between past and future. 

With one artist per side, we are moving away from our standard VA format, always used on Série Limitée releases. Inside this “Papier-mâché” sleeve, you will find a 12” Vinyl containing 4 rough and eclectic tracks in a universe where Deep embraces Dub sonorities.

SIDE A - MUD.ON

@mud-on is opening this release, delivering two tracks, mixing Dub and Acid Tones to finally create this unique dark and captivating atmosphere.

A1 - Continue 
The real deep sound track, with dp80 crumar piano gliding on top of all the other instruments.
the beat came from Roland 505 entirely built step by step around the track mood.
The bassline was developed from Volka Bass and arranged with analogic compressors.

A2 - Light Up
A curious mix between minimal and deep sounds melted together to create
a cool and rhythmic groove. Acid sounds are the main outlines of this track.

SIDE B - UNPRONOUNCEABLE

First release by @maurorizla under the alias “Unpronounceable”, a project born with one main goal: tell history with music keys. His inspiration is mainly found by reading books or watching documentary visions.

A1 - Mai Stato
Inspired by the experimental film “A place I’ve never been” by Adrian Flury, Mauro Rizla imagined a trip to the Acropolis of Athens accompanied by acidic violins.

A2 - Roma
Shots of trumpets and drum rollers are the keys of a documentary called “La Marcia su Roma” that has definitely left a mark on him. This closing track is using some sonorities of the documentary, creating a unique deep and melancholic track to never forget this very sad moment of history.
