Bob Humid /Robert Feuchtl – eigentlich Robert Edwin Feuchtl Mato ist als Musiker & DJ rastlos, als Produzent experimenteller Hörspiele, Filmmusiken, als Sound-Designer, Musikjournalist, Label und Tonstudiobetreiber akribisch. Beheimatet ist Bob in der Kölner elektronischen Musik- und Studioszene. Sein musikalisches Schaffen von elektronischen Breakbeats bis hin zu experimenteller Electronica berührt gelegentlich den Bereich der Clubmusik und des Pop. Er wurde in Montevideo, Uruguay, geboren, wuchs die meiste Zeit in Deutschland auf. Er war Organisator und Mitorganisator zahlreicher Aktivitäten im Kölner elektronischen Musik-Underground. Neben dem Testen von Studio- und DJ-Equipment ist er ein Produzent der mit außergewöhnlicher Sorgfalt Tonträger mischt. Noch arbeitet er am Feinschliff  für sein neues Album GRAVITY IS YOUR FRIEND, das irgendwann 2023/2024 veröffentlicht wird. Vorboten des neuen Albumprojekts nimmt Bob bereits hier und da mit. Durch die Sendung führen Dirk Specht und Dietmar Bonnen.

Musician, Super-Producer, DJ, Sound-Designer, Tutor and Technological Writer. Christian Kalinowski aka NUMINOS is a man with a phalanx of talents. Being an overly self-critical and detail-obsessed producer with a pumping heart for the british beats and the mighty dub-craft he rarely released tracks in the past years. He has come a long way from his early success in the german Hip Hop band Indeed (together with DJ Lifeforce & Uh-Young Kim) and that’s probably where the funk or his musicality derives from. This and the fact that he is also a learned piano-player. Of course there where prolific flirts with the UK-based PAGODA Records crew and skillful remixes for Bob Humid’s SERVE & DESTROY and earlier BORED BEYOND BELIEF Imprints, dozens of highly inspired DUB-Liveacts in Cologne’s underground (Electro Bunker, Why Beep?, Encounters Of The Ambient Kind, Mos Eisley, Silberschwein, Propellor Knights) and countless studio-jobs for other clients and artists, but we had to wait an eon for his first real debut-EP.

“Eyjafjallajökull” (named after that moody icelandish volcano that hold europe’s airplanes in its grip for months) is a musical description that breaths the spirit of humbleness before nature’s power and magnificence while it might very well throw you inside boiling lava in the next moment. To complete that goal a handful of renown remixers of germany’s electronic breakbeat underground have tuned into their personal view on that topic. Desmond Denker (Basspräsidium), Noize Creator (Suburban Trash), Echology (Uncanny Valley) and Bob Humid (Serve & Destroy Rec.) have all tweaked their machines to the extremes. This is Dubstep in its most playful variance and versatility.

Play it loud or not at all.

this is a jammed live-version of “how many fingers?”, taken from my album "second wind phenomenon" that i played on the spectacular “electric eclectic / phantomnoise records & suburban trash industries labelnight” on the 12th of may in 2007. the gig took place in the impressive moritzbastei in leipzig, a wide ancient cellar that was re-discovered in the early 1970ies. imho one of the most spectacular places in germany to perform as an artist. the track was jammed live with a yamaha rs7000. the intro consisted of the hyped and pumped-up noise-hiss of the analogue mixer that ran through a chain of alesis mod/fx (bitrman -> philtre -> smashup) units. the hiss suddenly appeared at the sound-check stage, so i spontanously decided to use it.
