2022 has unarguably been a great year for Electro both with overall visibility for the genre as well as with the sheer number of quality releases being put out over the course of the year. This was also a year in which I took a break from my show and handed DJing responsibilities over to DJ friends from around the world. Couldn't be happier with how the year turned out for the show. I feel like It was a busy year both production-wise and promotion-wise for @DVSNME and @DarkScienceElectro respectively, however, I found some time to put together a mix of my favorite 22 tracks from 2022. GAMADON (aka GAvin MAc DONagh) started buying records and DJing in Dublin in 1996. He is a vinyl only DJ and record collector - Irish, currently based in London.

• He runs the @warehouse-manifesto vinyl label.

• He curates the Warehouse Manifesto mix series. Some of his guests to date include Umwelt, Ben Sims, Claude Young, Joey Beltram, Jensen Interceptor, Sync 24 and Alienata.

• Most notably, he supported The Prodigy, on their European tour in cities such as Berlin, Hanover, Prague and Luxembourg in 2015-2016.

EKATA is a UK based DJ/Producer + Natural Selection Resident who's productions are characterised by their dark and atmospheric soundscapes, driven by pulsating rhythms and intricate synth work.

With support from the likes of Anthony Rother, Bloody Mary, Dave Clarke amongst others, EKATA's genuine and passionate approach to Electro is something that is rarely matched.

Determined to create music that is unearthly, idiosyncratic and exuding futurism of that of a sci-fi film, she always ensures a story is to be told in each track she produces.
