I just wanna be sitting in my room in 8th grade again bumping this and Joji and other chill vapor wave/ lofi beats . 9 years later I go through my playlists on SoundCloud and come across this banger. I just want it back so badly. Something in my brain changed around this time and it shot an electric shock through my body to be creative and enjoy those feelings you get from art and creativity. Nostalgia is one my favorite feeling but it hurts at the same time.

this was my final project for guitar 1! i performed it in class but i thought it would sound way better with more instruments added in. i wanted to write a song about love, and about being in love, and how that feels - how a single person can mean so much. and i wanted to write about the things that we have to tell ourselves to forget those feelings, like, "it was just a phase." i know it's really sappy but i love stuff like that, so please listen to the whole thing! thank you!
