Et Al is a producer and DJ based in Aberdeen. A regular at the Tunnels as well as playing gigs all around Scotland, he first caught the attention of the wider scene with a series of free download edits on Soundcloud. He has since developed his sound to a more mature level, with tracks spanning the electro and breaks spectrum while balancing introspective tracks with more club-oriented music. With a debut physical EP slated for later in 2021, as well as some big collaborations, it's shaping up to be a busy year for him.

"One of Spain's most prolific breaks producers, Colombo returns to iBreaks with a two-tracker that shows off more sides of his production arsenal.  These two killer cuts are definitely going to be dancefloor weapons to help him on his way!

Get To Move gets things going with a meaty kick and snare, and a building vocal loop which drops into a deep growling bassline.  The synth work on this one is subtle with tons of ear candy blips and sweeps, but builds and drops throughout to keep hands well and truly in the air.

Flipside track Little Bitch has the swing function set to max, relying on a much more skippy beat and buzzing low slung bassline, perfectly complemented by synth stabs and sweeps.  Nearing the halfway mark Colombo switches up the bassline to a darker driving mid-way section before dropping back into the main hook.  This is breakbeat with a smile, and a bit of a wiggle too, but a bonafide secret weapon that'll set a club alight!"

This week Paket and Seth Vogt drop their remixes of Slapper on us and we are loving it. Paket went for a garage/2-step vibe with the drums while incorporating a whomp-y bass line and a heap of lasers to give his remix a real down-and-dirty feel. Seth Vogt went for a progressive vibe with pianos, ethereal synth pads, and a bit of a scat-like vocal to accompany the original. It’s a real tripped out space journey. Both worthy of a spot in your rotation!

Producing dance music professionally since 1996, Seth Vogt has watched many dance music genera trends and music making technologies evolve at a steady pace. Originally a classically trained musician from Erie Pennsylvania, he discovered electronic dance music after moving to Orlando Florida to study recording engineering in the late 90’s. 

After being mentored by the late great Bill Hamel (two time Grammy nominee and founder of Fatum), Seth has gone on to work with some of the biggest names in dance music.
