6 years in the making, Canadian artist Trecetone comes blasting out the gate with his debut project; The Dead Pale LP, "because I'm so dead ass pale" he says. While The Dead Pale LP is certainly longer than most demos, Trecetone has something to prove and that is evident with his no-holds-barred disposition and prolific writing. Trecetone or Trece, for short, credits Eminem, Lil Wayne, 2Pac, Pusha T, and J. Cole as his biggest hip-hop influences. Trece has a kind of energy and wit that is nostalgic in the present day of hip-hop. This LP displays many sides of Trece, from lyrical boasting in Reef produced "From the 604" (a tribute to his home city of Vancouver), his childhood and upbringing in "Rumours" and "My School", to unapologetic callouts in "Every Last Line" and more. Trece claims he is just getting started, so you had better get used to the name, and respect the grind.
