Wave Magnetik is the huge electronic music duo with live trumpet and drums.


The word Unity can conjure up thoughts of fellowship and camaraderie. This is exactly the feeling the Unity Band aims to incite with their music and live show. Their sets are filled with improvs and original compositions which have been further imagined over the space-time continuum; as they continue they’re search for a sound rife with elements of J Dilla, St. Germain, and The Headhunters. 

The Unity Band actively cultivates sonic experiments that fuse elements of HIp-Hop, Jazz, Funk, and World musics. Envisioned by Brooklyn native, Tacuma Bradley, the band seeks to render out good vibes and positive energy from anyone and anything within earshot. Using horns, drums, bass, keys, and the human voice, they blend rhythm and sound to create a space of openness so we (all people) can communicate on another level. A simpler level. Where a hip shake, or head nod, are signs of immersion into that space. Where you can be yourself with no hesitation. Where a smile can gain you access to all you need in this wondrous life.

NYC based singer & songwriter. Upcoming release, Enough, is a collection of original songs about her life in the city and her rural southern roots. Originally from Virginia, her soulful, vocally-driven music is influenced by an upbringing in southern church music, her training as an opera singer, and learning folk guitar from her pastor father. Inspired by such artists as Patty Griffin, Gillian Welch, Neil Young, Norah Jones, Dolly Parton and Alison Krauss.

PHES @mcmaniphes is an artist, educator, and community organizer from NYC. His work is characterized as a blend of NY Hip-Hop mixed with international and cross-generational influence. His technique involves creating new expressions that tap into the many cultures, histories, and styles that make up his identity as a first generation Afro-Brazilian-American.

Phes has performed music, painted murals, exhibited art, and partnered with various organizations, artists, musicians, and activists from around the world. His work has been featured in films, galleries and various forms of media. Phes currently resides in New York, where he has a studio in the Bronx, working as an Artist-In-Residence through the CUFA organization. You can find him on social media @mcmaniphes.

Star Rover is as much an engine for collaboration as it is a band. Since forming in 2013 over a love of John Fahey’s music, the duo has recorded and toured with a long and wide ranging cast of musicians: Sam Amidon, Larkin Grimm, Benjamin Lazar Davis, Jesse Harris, Petra Haden, Tiago Iorc, Ricardo Dias Gomes (Caetano Veloso), and many others. They’ve toured in Asia, Europe, and South America, and played hundreds of shows in New York City, developing a repertoire of pyschadelic-melodic songs mixed with a rhythmically aggressive, telepathic improvisational language.
